Place was very clean, staff was friendly, food was good, but service was very slow. I don’t know if they’re understaffed or what, but we were there almost an hour and twenty minutes, for a group of four that had ordered four plates, to get our food. When the waitress came back to check on us, she was like “Wow, you all ate that fast,” as we were done eating, but no, we were not fast, you were super slow. Made the mistake of ordering a piece of the pecan pie, how long do you think it took to get that? It was over 10 minutes. So if you’re in a hurry, this is not the place for you. If you have time to burn, it’s great. I have no complaints about anything else.

I hadn’t been to Peppers in over 10 years, and it was like going to a dear friend’s for dinner. The service was friendly, the atmosphere charming, and the menu selections were creative and delicious. I ordered the green chili wonton appetizer and lobster gnocchi for my entree. Both were attractively plated and simply sublime. The bourbon pecan pie was very delicious, a little over sweet for my palate, but I finished every bite! I definitely won’t wait so long this time to return.

Was a little confused at first. Thought we were in another restaurant we looked at, turns out they are both in the same building, just depends on where u sit. Otherwise, not a bad place. Chips and salsa were good with homemade chips, I had the shrimp fajita which came out fast and sizzling. My friend had an appetizer which loved, just forgot what exactly she had. Inside had great decor and if u ask the staff for a ghost story, they are happy to share. The building has been known to be haunted. Other restaurant is a steak house, with a menu that looked good but very pricey. We opted to stay in the area for Peppers. Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.

Marissa was an excellent server. Very personable and helpful. One of the people in my party is Celiac and Marissa was very helpful in clarifying which menu items were safe for her to eat. Sadly, the recent menu changes have left very few Gluten-Free items available to those who cannot eat gluten. As far as I could see there were only two things on the menu that were indicated as Gluten-free. The margaritas were delicious as always.

We have eaten both in Peppers and in the Double Eagle. Peppers is a beautiful arboretum full of trees and plants. The setting is wonderful as is the food. Slightly pricier but worth it. Excellent wine, beer, and liquor selection. The Double Eagle is in their fancy ballroom in the back of the building. Food is fantastic but expensive. We highly recommend the ceasar salad and bananas foster. Go there is you want a special treat.

I chose to leave 1 star because I couldn’t leave zero. The service was terrible. The restaurant didn’t appear to be very busy. The hostess was great, she filled our water glasses twice and brought us chips in the waiters absence. It took 15 minutes before the waiter addressed our table of 5. The frozen blender was broken, so I chose to get a margarita on the rocks instead. It was very tasty. The waiter brought 4 out of the 5 meals and we had to wait 10 minutes for the missing meal to arrive (chicken fajitas). The waiter was clearing the table before he ever refilled our water, at which we had to ask for refills. He never asked if we wanted mixed drink refills. We sat waiting for our checks for another 10 minutes. He walked off, then came back and continued clearing the table before we ever got our checks. Overall, service was less than subpar. Food was food. Drinks were great. I would likely never return.

Peppers on the Plaza (Potp) is a charming restaurant with a rustic interior and a warm atmosphere. The service is friendly and attentive, but the food is unfortunately a bit of a disappointment. The pork belly skillet was bland and overcooked. The steak sandwich was four small steak bites and small portions size, with no flavor.

We have eaten here several times and always enjoyed our meals. I didn’t want any corn so I chose the vegan fajitas – the menu listed them being sautéed calabacitas, bell peppers and onions. Sadly, they were mostly onions with some bell peppers and very little calabacitas but lots of corn!? Disappointing but still delicious! Topped off with the Mezcal Mule! I’ll try for the calabacitas again next time!

Literally the best meal I’ve had in recent memory. We discovered this place totally on accident and now it’s a “must revisit”.
