We waited (under 2 minutes) to be noticed and seated. The air was rather warm (I’m always cold, so that’s saying a lot.)
Our server (didn’t give his name) was quick, friendly, and appropriately attentive.
The glass was dirty, which was concerning.
Chips were hot, but unsalted. Salsa was average and they also brought ranch.
Food was quick, hot, and …average.
I had the taco salad, which was quite small for $12. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their dinners.
Overall, a decent place, but not a place I would crave to go back to.

If i could give this location a zero stars i would. I ordered two “pick two” plates on doordash and my first “pick two” was tostada’s that was SMOOTHERED in cheese when I request no cheese. Additionally and worst of all there was TWO BLACK CURLY hairs in the red sauce. I am absolutely disgusted by this location and their lack of cleanliness.

Typically the food is very good, however, the meat on the tacos was extremely salty. Not sure if they have a new cook, stick with original seasonings please. A little difficulty in communication with our server. Received flour shells instead of corn. I did eat what was provided.

The food used to be consistently good, but sometime last summer or fall it drastically declined in quality. All the enchiladas taste off bordering on inedible. Way too much salt has replaced seasoning and flavor. Many items not made according to description, or just forgotten. I used to get food here a few times a month. Over the last 6 months I have been getting it less than once a month to see if they have fixed their issues. Sadly no. This last time was the most disappointing yet. I am done giving them chances to correct course for a long while. Go back to whatever vendors you were using before last summer or hire cooks that know what they are doing. Fix that gutter that’s been falling off your building for a year while you’re at it. Seeing it sway in the wind drives home that a general lack of apathy rules your restaurant.

We have been to this Peppers location pretty much once (sometimes twice) a week for the past 6 months, at least in some capacity whether it being dine in or take out. The past 3 times we have taken out our food hasn’t been the best and our to go margaritas haven’t been right, asked for on the rocks and got frozen, wrong flavor – things that like…. This evening took it tho, we called and placed a take out order for 3 entrees and 3 margaritas…. We called and placed the order and the first problem was that we were told 5-20 minutes for everything to be ready so we spent 35 minutes from calling them at Kroger, we got to Peppers 40 minutes after placing the order and was then told it would be 30 more minutes because there were only two cooks….. why was that not communicated on the phone? We would have anticipated for that amount of time. However, then we got home and half of the food was wrong – just not what was ordered and didn’t match the receipt. Finally…. The margarita’s – as a bar manager for 6 years downtown Cincinnati…. I’ve never witnessed a worse margarita I wish we didn’t even waste the money on them. Mind you – the food (that took an additional 35 minutes to get out to us) beat the margaritas to us. Great I thought they would be fresh and delicious, we live 10 minutes from the restaurant…. We got home and these are the most watered down (wrongly flavored) margaritas I’ve ever experienced. Honestly embarrassing for Peppers.

We picked up an online order & I got the grilled shrimp.
I couldn’t eat it. It was burnt It had a very bad taste.
The other 3 dinners we got was also burnt & very small servings.
Not worth the money.

The food was okay. You can get the same food elsewhere for a lot better. The service wasn’t horrible, but needs work. Inside the restaurant was very dirty and gross feeling. Stains on the ceiling, trash on the floor, dirty menus, sticky floors, nothing seemed clean. It was very hot inside. Don’t waste your time or money.

Been here a few times, food was alright but service was fast. Ordered to-go recently and the salsa was spoiled?? Decided to give it one more chance today and the chicken bandido was uneatable. Chicken seemed undercooked, chewy, w/ old chicken taste. We sent it back and asked for a fresh one only to get equally bad chicken with some burnt pieces. Server was really nice but didn’t offer a refund when he noticed we didn’t touch the new chicken. Won’t be back

Sometimes with take out, our experience is hit or miss, but our experience with dine in is always great! Food was great and service was even better! We had small children and our server took great care to make their meal special.

So happy to have a Mexican restaurant back in the area! Finally stopped in to check it out and was not disappointed. We had the Peppers Fajitas and the Trio Fajitas. Choriqueso as an appetizer. The chips were hot and fresh and the salsa was great. Service was excellent. Excited to try other menu options at the next visit!
