Not sure if these are actually Jamaicans. If so they have been the US too long. Oxtail was a lot of bones and fat. Gravy was not very thick kind of watery. Cabbage had no flavor other than ginger not one speck of pepper. Overall, lacked flavor very greasy. Food was hot but not good. Would not recommend. $30 for rice and 4 soggy plantains.
UPDATE: later in the night I was very sick and I threw up all of the food I ate here. Turns out the food was tainted somehow. I then realized this restaurant gets all its mystery meat from the price rite grocery store next door. DO NOT EAT HERE food is not only flavorless but it can be dangerous for your insides.

My wife and I tried several options including Jerk Chicken, Curry Chicken, and Curry Goat. The dishes were delicious! We loved the steamed cabbage and rice and peas that came with the platters. Big flavors and the spice levels were perfect! Very generous with portions and at a great price. Excited to come back again and again. Fantastic service also!!

Stopped by for lunch while visiting the Harrisburg area for business. It was busy, but most people were ordering their food to go as well as food delivery drivers. I was the only one dining in. Service was very good, spoke to everyone as if they were family.
Ordered the oxtail platter with plantains, side of cabbage, and a beef patty. They were out of beef patties when I placed my ordered, but called me back up when a batch was ready. Platter was large with plenty of oxtail served on top of rice and beans. Cabbage and beef patty were also good.
Good place for comfort food, good service, in a casual environment.

Tryed this place with my husband for the first time and in a nutshell shell wasn’t bad but definitely can be improved. The food did not taste bad, but I didn’t get the authenticity that I was looking for. The service was A1. The lady who served us was very polite and kind. She informed and greeted us when we said it was our first time here and showed us to the menu. The food was a bit pricey but we paid for it because it’s been years since I had Jamaican food. The atmosphere was better then many in Harrisburg but you always want to keep all the tables clean just in case you have eat in guest, which the one table was not. The facilities were very clean and smelled nice. There was some nice music playing and I felt very comfortable. Overall it was a nice experience, but was not happy about the portions of what you get compared to the prices. All together we spent $57 dollars for two platters, two beef patties, a small container of white rice and plantains and a couple of drinks. (We had gotten a third bottle of water for 50 cents off the original price which was nice). Not sure if we will be back but it was a nice experience nevertheless. Thanks for the hospitality!

Stopped in here to see what they were about. My wife is Jamaican and this kind of food helps the family feel closer to certain people. The place is pretty big but feels a bit empty. They have tables and chairs but they’re small. It could help if they invested in some bigger/ nicer seating arrangements
The service was great. I ordered beef Pattie’s, oxtail and Rasta pasta.
The Rasta pasta was awesome. The rice and peas in the oxtail was great as well: I know some may complain about the prices vs portion size…. But having made most of these foods. I understand the prep time it takes for some of the dishes.. it’s definitely worth a try and the food is good.

Definitely a must go! Service was very hospitable and helpful. Food was quality and absolutely delicious and comforting. We tried the jerk chicken platter and ox tail. Oxtail was very tender falling off the bone, jerk chicken was perfectly spicy and crispy skin. The plantains were to die for and the side cabbage was perfectly cooked! We also tried their sorrel and ginger drink. Sadly they do not serve the guava but the sorrel and ginger was very refreshing and not too sweet. They even helped me make sure I knew what went with what when packing my order.

The woman taking my order over phone was rude and had big attitude. The food was horrible. They opened at 12p so I figured I would get fresh made food. WRONG!!!!! the jerk chicken was mostly bones that tasted and looked like it was left overs from last night. The beef patties were super thin. The coco bread was hard like baguette bread. $34. Spend on TRASH! I cook everyday at home, I wanted something different and was grossly disappointed. I did a food review on pepperpot 1 1/2 years ago. It was much better. THEY SUCK NOW!!!

Im staying in Linglestown. So I googled carribean food near me. This was the closest. My first time here. Let me begin this by saying Carribean food is amazing food, but every establishment makes it different. I ordered 2 beef patties, they were out. No big deal! Then I ordered oxtail platter w/white rice and gravy, then a platter of jerk chicken with cabbage. The jerk sauce was excellent! The chicken was cooking all damn day. It was dryer than the Sahara desert and thinner than my patience. This is not a dramatization! I cannot make this up. The oxtails had more fat on it than meat. Food was hot, just the portion size for $37.10 was extremely missed! I don’t care about the cheapest food in town. I wanted the expereince, that was dimished with the portion size of food. No one is making anything up. I reqlly hope your business flourishes without excuses. Just be consistent th quality! Caveat emptor..
