Amazing Stromboli! Crust is light and crunchy. Lots of good food for price. Very friendly service. Suggest 2 people order one because of size, unless want leftovers. Definitely a favorite if I lived here.

Nice cashier guy. Good service. 3 Pizzas arrived fairly quickly. Toppings very good. Crust soft and very thin. A tad soggy in the middle for my taste. I asked for extra crispy to avoid the sog but it didn’t help. Oh well. Overall nice experience. Wonderful sitting outside. No indoor seating.

Walking distance from the beach on lower Oak Island. Chose takeout and pizza was ready on time. Staff was pleasant and friendly. If you’re a pizza sauce aficionado, you may not be happy. This is not a bad thing. The muted sauce flavor doesn’t overpower the fresh toppings; especially if you order a supreme or meat lover’s. The dough has the sweeter flavor of a sour dough. A large pizza is definitely a large pizza. Recommend you at least try this place out fort lunch or dinner.

Stopped here after a beach day. Pizza was really good, right out of the oven HOT and fresh, really good value. They have a really nice sized, outdoor, Fido friendly patio. We had 4 dogs with us and they brought us 2 bowls for their water. Just a great little place with a nice selection of food items.

We ate here twice during our OKI trip. Pizza is delicious. Lots of options. Excellent crust. Reheats well too, if you have leftovers. The first time we went there they gave everyone free garlic knots which were also delicious. I only wish they had better shade on their outdoor seating (no indoor seating at all since it’s such a small building) bc the sun was very intense this week. Clean bathrooms. Reasonable pricing.

I cannot say enough good things about Austin! I called to place a massive food order for 38 people, and the entire time I had all 38 of them yelling their orders out behind me. It was absolute chaos, and somehow Austin handled it with incredible patience, professionalism, and a great attitude.
He never got flustered, never rushed me, and made sure every single order was correct. I was honestly blown away by how calm and helpful he stayed through the whole thing.
If every place had an Austin, the world would be a better (and much more patient) place. Thank you for making what could have been a stressful situation so smooth! Highly recommend!

My experience today was great. I decided to grab lunch with my coworkers and I am happy. We decided to choose this place. Our meals were delicious and prompt. The service was amazing and the ambience was even better. Recommended five out of five.

We ordered a pizza to go while in Oak Island a few days ago. The reason we originally decided to try the Pepperoni Grill at the Beach was because our accommodations were only 3 miles away and their website shows they deliver. When we called to place a delivery order, the associate who answered the phone was polite, but informed us they no longer deliver.
We decided to place an order for pickup instead since we were less than 5 minutes away. Our order was simple, a large pizza with mushrooms on the entire pie with pepperoni on one half & onions on the other half. After placing our order, we immediately drove to the restaurant so we would be there when our pizza was ready.
Upon arrival, the staff gave off the impression that they would rather be anywhere but working. No greeting or engagement of any kind. As soon as our pizza was ready, we went straight home and dug in.
Unfortunately as soon as we opened the box, it was clear that the mushrooms used on our pizza were canned, not fresh. This was a major disappointment as canned mushrooms have no place on a pizza. Especially in a local pizza joint when big chains can even use fresh mushrooms.
When we tried the pizza, the sauce was surprisingly sweet & the pizza itself, very chewy, like rubber. I was starving so I did get down two pieces, but trashed the rest of my half. My husband ate his remarking, “sometimes food is just food, you know?” I had a laugh at that, because I did know, having just choked down two slices. As far as the atmosphere, the building was clean but nothing else was notable. Unfortunately this is not a place I would go back to but do hope they update their information to show they no longer deliver and beg them to stop using canned mushrooms.
