I highly recommend this restaurant Steakhouse. The food and service quality was truly exceptional, I can’t wait to come back. My favorite is the Ribeye appetizer, and the kabobs. Cons: The drinks and some of the atmosphere don’t match the quality of the food, and the tables, chairs, and the cups are like from a diner. But otherwise the food is worth way much more than what they charge for it. So I think you should not miss this stop when crossing by Valentines.

We ate here since we were in town for a wrestling meet for the weekend. Place was nice, clean and staff was happy and attentive. We had our 3 youngest with us and they seemed to enjoy their food. I had to switch prime rib out for my son’s smoked brisket as the sauce they put on the brisket was a bit too spicy for him. So he got my 12oz prime rib and I got his brisket. He loved the prime rib, and so did I. It was good. My son’s brisket was over cooked/smoked. It was tough but not bad. We took dessert to go. Overall good place, clean and people were nice.

Was pleasantly surprised by this! The cheese fries were fire and ice – warm fries and cold cheese…but at the same time it still felt like my tastebuds were ascending into heaven! Also, never have I ever tasted such scrumptious and fluffy-as-a-gelatinous-cloud rice as what I just tasted! The state of the restroom and the amount of flies attacking our table were a bit iffy…but the epic food made up for it! Definitely recommend taking a trip to the good ol’ Peppermill!

Service was great. Friendly staff. My burger was good, mushrooms and Swiss perfect, the burger was a little over cooked, I prefer a little juicier. Fries were great!
Husband had a beef combo which he enjoyed. Tender beef, large portion.

This used to be the best place within easily 100 miles. Not any longer. No friendly atmosphere, no attentive staff. We left before food came after reading management’s reply to reviews.
We came back today and were disappointed that the restaurant is now using really thin, wood fiber straws that are more like stir sticks. Considering I’m paying $15 for a good burger, I’d like to drink my drink out of something that didn’t immediately crack. Straws account for a tiny fraction of a percentage of world plastic waste, pulling the political stunt is ridiculous and has no place in a restaurant.
After seeing the management’s reply to another review, I downgraded this to a 1. Never going back.

Really can’t say enough about this restaurant! It’s an absolutely gem of a place in a small, rural city. The food was unbelievable, the portions were out of this world, great beer selection (including locally brewed craft beer which was fantastic ), and the service literally couldn’t be any better.
It’s a model that other establishments should strive to be as they do ALL of the little things right! From a friendly greeting at the door, to getting your drinks immediately, to serving beer in a frosted mug ( ), to perfectly cooked broccoli, to hand-breaded, real fish, to spotlessly clean dining areas … and I could go on, but we were all really impressed. To be in a hunting trip away from home in a small town and find a place like this was pretty cool!
Give them a try! You won’t be unhappy, I guarantee it! And NO, I wasn’t paid for this! LOL

Went there for the first time after going to Valentine many times. We had great local beers, and a decent half order of Rocky Mountain oysters. The service was great… but not as great as the steaks. I had a prime rib and the other person had a 10oz Heart City cut. Both were cooked perfectly. Sides were good, prices were fair, and most importantly… the bathroom was clean! Haha. Will be back!

4.5 stars. Come on Google, enable 1/2 stars please! The 18 ounce (hey I hadn’t eaten in over 9 hours prior to eating this big hunk of meat) ribeye steak was nearly perfect. I would have gotten a baked potato to go with the side of beef I had, but I went a schmidge early and they hadn’t nuked the potatoes yet, so I had the smashed taters instead. Very good meal and was reasonably priced as well. The waitress was kind, courteous and helpful. Highly recommend this establishment for all your beef (or poultry, seafood and pork) consumption needs.
