My husband and I stopped in for dinner on Saturday evening around 8:00PM during our cross country road trip. The food was good and prices were very affordable. There was only one waitress attending all tables when we dined in. The waitress was friendly and the wait time wasn’t too long for our food. We had grilled salmon and pork chops with garlic mashed potatoes and a green salad. The portion sizes were not too huge which we appreciated.

Great spot for some BBQ! I tried the sample platter with southwest sauce and loved it. I got macaroni and cheese and coleslaw as my sides and a brownie for dessert. Check out the pictures! It was as yummy as it looks!

We stopped at Rawlins looking for a place to have a coffee. We couldn’t find anything open (too early). We asked a very nice couple, owners of an Art Gallery (really good local art). They gave us the name and directions to get to the Peppermill :-).

Before setting out on the remainder of our trip we visited Peppermill as recommended by hotel staff. It was Sunday morning so the server quickly let us know it was buffett only and what the price was. The buffet was kept well stocked and had a good variety including fruit and cottage cheese. Drinks were also included in the price.

Stopped by in the middle of the afternoon and we were the only ones there. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the food. Her chicken sandwich was amazing and my Ruben was very good. Service was good. Only bad thing was things could be cleaner, especially the carpet floor.

Amazing service, delicious food, great prices. I had the prime rib sandwich, it was a prime rib slice on Texas toast, with perfectly crisp fries. We asked our server, what she recommended, so my husband got the Philly Cheesesteak, and we were not led astray, thin slices of prime rib, sautéed onions and peppers! We will definitely stop here again!!

Stopped for lunch May 28th , waitress was nice but that’s where it stopped, slow slow service , food was slow, table of 5 in our party, 3 had eaten and finished before the other two got their food. Food was ok to mediocre.

We ended up here after a long day of breaking down all along the highway. The owners and other employees were here hanging out and everyone was so welcoming and enjoyable to chat with. We enjoyed having drinks so much that night that we ended up coming in for breakfast in the mornin! I never planned to go to Rawlins but I will for sure be coming back through on any roadtrip!!!!
