We reserved a table for New Years Eve which is also my parents wedding anniversary. The place must be an old Applebees but they did a really cute job remodeling it. My mom had the French onion soup that she said was very good. Three people had the lobster on special for NYE. They all really enjoyed it. This was a new item for them so they didn’t have the cracking tools available but they did a great job pre-cracking them in the kitchen so they were easily workable. Two had the prime rib. A very nice cut and very tasty. I had the NY Strip and it had a perfect char on the outside with a warm pink center as ordered. Baked potatoes and salad were all good. Crystal was our server and we were very impressed with her service. Very attentive, caring and thought ahead. Great job to her and the team at Peppercorns. We will definitely be back!

I’ve been wanting to come here for several months and when I got a notice for a 10 for $10 lunch menu I knew I really had to go.
Peppercorns took over an old Applebee’s location here in Bradenton. Going in it looked exactly like I expected but I like that.
My family and I chose different items off the lunch menu. I chose the two chili dogs, my mom chose the fish and chips, and my father chose the corned beef Reuben.
Everything thing was delicious. The fries were nice and crispy and the all-beef hot dogs were extremely delicious.
I will be coming again, that is for sure.
If you live in the area take my word and don’t miss out.

Our first time here. We were sat immediately. There were a total of maybe 5 tables with customers. The place was dead. Our server Tanya was great. She explained that they were out of certain food items. I’m guessing the person ordering is new to this. But , we ordered the Spinach and Artichoke Dip as an appetizer. The chips were amazing, (made fresh) the dip itself was really soupy. It had a decent flavor. We would try something different. My husband ordered the Fisherman’s Platter. The fish had too much batter and was overcooked. The scallops were great, the shrimp were good. The green beans were cooked to mush. The rice pilaf he didn’t care for, and he loves rice. I ordered the Black Tie Cowboy Burger with fresh hot fries. I told Tanya I would get the fries, only if they were cooked to order. The burger, was cooked the way I ordered it. It was actually real hamburger, you could even smell the real meat. It was great. The fries were precooked just warm not cooked fresh as Tanya even told the cook. They were either cooked untimely before the burger, or had been sitting under the heat lamp. For this place being new, you would want to keep customers coming back. Customer’s request should be followed. And /or make sure your cooks are experienced. Whatever oil is used in the fryer, is good. I ate just a couple of warm fries. Overall, we may try again since they are still new. But , the atmosphere was dull. The food was hit and miss. Tweak some things. Take reviews and make adjustments. The restrooms were the same as before. The Christmas decorations were Beautiful!

Got seated right away. Drinks and salad arrived swiftly. Food runner tried to deliver steak entree before we even took a bite of salad. I think the waitress was inexperienced and she definitely did not know the menu. French onion soup was really sweet almost like they added sugar. Loaded baked potatoes were on the small side. Most likely we will not go back.

It has been a long time comming to finally have a restaurant in this area i can actually rave about. First visit & definately wont be the last. Love love loved the whole experience. I started my day off today craving meatloaf. Normally it would be like Bob Evans but i just dont enjoy going there that much. My friend & I saw Steak & Seafood on Peppercorns & decided to give it a try. It was out of this world. Nice portion & loved the sear marks of the grill. So much better than right out of a loaf pan. Main concern was deciding what to order as i saw other items of interest. Stayed with the meatloaf but now I want to try other spectacular items. Definately going back.

August 2025: The food selections were very good and having a kids menu was always excellent for our family. Our service from our waitress was excellent but the front host needs to up her job. We asked her how long was the wait for our party of 9 and she said she had no idea and gave us no options even though we see empty tables. After 15 mis of wait, we asked her again and said the same response. Maybe she was new but that was an unacceptable for that position. If someone else did not assisted her and gave us 2 tables for our group we would have left. Our waitress, however, gave us an excellent service which made it all up for the frustrating wait.

I arrived at 4:40 on Monday the 7th of September. I was meeting 8 other people for dinner. David was our server and he was great. He had a great sense of humor which I appreciate. David brought my beer quickly and then order appetizers. The coconut shrimps were over cooked, but the rest of appetizers everyone seemed to enjoy. I ordered the fish and chips being that I had cooked a steak Friday. The fish was battered and it was a whole fillet of haddock which you don’t see often at restaurants. The battered had very little flavoring it could have used salt if nothing else. Did I say David was great. The batter on the fish was cooked a little long because it completely separated from fish. So every bite was just white haddock. The coleslaw had a little too much vinegar and came in a metal condiment container, I have never seen that small of amount of coleslaw ever. The French fries were small steak fries and they were cooked just right for me. Again they had very little flavoring, if nothing else a little salt goes a long ways. My wife got Idaho baked potato with an order of spinach and artichoke dip(appetizer) she was pleasantly pleased with it. The house salad had a lot of red bell pepper and only 1 little tomato, it was on the fresh side and tasted fine. David was great if I didn’t say that enough. The silverware was clean and being that the place had been remodeled recently it was clean. No for the big question. Over all I wasn’t happy with my meal. Will I go back? I will and try something like the steak or even the hamburger.

TASTY FOOD, EXCELLENT SERVICE BY SOPHIA! Sophia was welcoming, bright, intelligent, helpful and professional! We couldn’t have asked for a better server. She literally did everything right.
The food, sirloin steak was delicious, and perfectly cooked. A little pricy for what looked like less than 12 ounces of sirloin? Yeah. Quite delicious. We had a wonderful overall experience!
