I’ve heard a lot about this place. The meat was really good. I had to burn tips, ribs, fries, and coleslaw. I didn’t like the coleslaw it lacks seasoning flavor. Customer service was good. It was clean. I would definitely go back and try all their different meat options.

I have wanted to try Pepper & Salt for some time now but my schedule and theirs just didn’t seem to work out. Finally it did. I’m so glad it did.
First of all the owner greeted us and asked if we had been there before. We said it was our first time so he kindly went over the menu with us. Cut our orders fresh from the brisket, ribs, and pork belly. Everyone there was super friendly.
Just walking in the door you could almost taste the flavor in the air! Actually tasting it did not disappoint. The rub on their meats stands out on its own but paired with such perfectly smoked meats it’s a culinary pleasure.
The brisket was oozing with juices and full of flavor. He even cut me some of the burnt ends. The pork belly was the perfect blend of fat and meat that makes me the happiest of campers. The Ribs, oh how the just pull off the bone just right! I swear there’s no paid advertisement here. It was just that good. I could go on but will save it for my next visit. Oh and I even had some to take home which is the only picture I took because I started eating without pausing for pictures.

One word….Amazing. We had the brisket sandwiches. One regular size and one large. So moist and savory. Easily in the top two of all barbecue brisket sandwiches I have ever had. Get there early. Once an item is sold out, it’s out! Once everything is sold, the shop closes.

First time after being recommended by a ton of friends. Best spare ribs I ever had. You get options on the cut of brisket and I got the moist part, and it was extremely fatty and tender. Pork belly was seasoned heavy with peppercorns which I loved. Spicy BBQ sauce was great. I saw them making some burnt ends and asked the chef if those were for sale but it was for a catering event. He still gave me and some friends a few pieces to try and it was unbelievable. 10/10 hospitality and food.

This is a trendy bbq place, very cute and comfy but the food was okay. The meats were seasoned well but lacking salt and smoke- they mostly had lots of pepper. They were also sold out of many items, including the brisket, cornbread, & even their one and only bbq sauce. The staff were rude/stand-offish to several customers while we were in there and were wearing sunglasses inside. They also weigh out their portion sizes of the meat, which were pretty small. This place is overall okay for quick trendy bbq.

Meats and sides are OK at best. Meats have no smoke flavor to them. Rubs were good but didn’t feel like they enhanced the meat in a cohesive way, especially when thinking of BBQ. I think other reviews are fooled by the trendy atmosphere of the place. Front of house employees seem to hold contempt for their custimers. Employees interacting with customers shouldn’t be wearing sunglasses. If you are looking for real BBQ I suggest going elsewhere. After eating here I am still finding myself craving BBQ.

I had a slamburger yesterday and it was everything I’ve ever dreamed of and wanted in a burger my entire life when I say I want a hot juicy burger…… that was it. I burned my tongue and I didn’t even care. I will be returning today! Not only that but the first time we visited, I’m pretty sure I got a pulled pork loaded mac and cheese — I genuinely don’t remember what I ordered but it was freaking sublime and I smashed every bite. My husband still talks about the cuban sandwich from that trip too. Yesterday we also got the 3 meat tray with chicken, pulled pork, and the moist brisket plus coleslaw and mac (of course). Once again, it was to die for. So juicy and tender, husband really enjoyed the chicken (bc he’s trying to behave with his food intake) and my 5yo commandeered the coleslaw for his own and ate the whole dang thing. We were all able to eat to satisfaction and it was honestly such a value compared to eating out at other local and franchise restaurants. Yesterday by the grace of God alone we managed to resist the urge to buy the quart sized banana pudding which we had also bought on our first visit…… unreal. We may not have the same tenacity to resist it today and honestly whatever happens happens thank you guys! Such great food and I love to support a family business that obviously puts so much care into their craft. See you soon!!

Really good BBQ right here in Vero Beach. The brisket is phenomenal, moist, tender and huge flavor. My only gripe is how often they can be out of other items. I guess they sell out everyday!

My family of four was visiting Vero Beach from the Chicago area and I was thrilled to find some fantastic BBQ close by! We tasted almost everything available on the day of our visit and it was all great! Perfect Brisket, delicious pork belly burnt ends, and wonderful pulled pork! The turkey was a pleasant addition as well and the mac and cheese was a delightful bonus side dish!

After eyeing this place for a while now! I am finally excited to actually stop by and try Pepper and Salt! The place was a bit small with not that much seating available, the noice was average, not too loud, and it was very clean.
I got the pulled pork with a side of baked beans and a potato salad, while my father got the brisket accompanied by some mac and cheese and coleslaw.
Both meats were very tender and juicy. And the sides were delicious! I will definitely return to try their smash burger!
