My first meal in New Orleans and I almost cried with the roast beef debris and gravy fries! Everything homemade.. had grandma’s crab patty recipe – the best I’ve ever had! Staff were the most friendly, will definitely be coming back!

A welcome surprise! I was taken here by some local friends, and it was great. We were immediately welcomed at the door and invited to sit where we liked. They had quick, courteous service and great food. I had a hot sausage po boy for the first time, and the waitress was helpful with suggestions for this “northerner”. It was delicious. I ate half and saved the rest for dinner, but it almost didn’t make it until dinnertime. I’ll definitely visit again because I need to explore the menu some more.

Loved this restaurant. Found online, and it had great reviews, now we know why. Our server, Brittany, was the best. She recommended the post roast – and it was fantastic. Great flavor and fork tender. Almost licked my plate clean. My friend had the shrimp salad with homemade croutons that melted in your mouth. Shrimp was perfectly cooked and there was plenty of it – per Brittany, paired it with honey mustard dressing. This is truly a hidden gem – must stop if in the area.

I’m a truck driver I stopped in and they treated me like Family.. they were actually closed and went out of their way to make sure I had something good to eat when I was out of options for food. Staff was courteous and the pork chop and red beans and rice was delicious … thanks alot

Very good home cooked food with reasonable prices. We got an order of fried okra as an app, some of, if not the best I’ve ever had. I got the club with fries, it was stuffed with ham and turkey, and the fries were great as well. My wife got the hamburger steak, with mashed potatoes and smothered green beans. It was great as well. We will be back!

Level set your expectations… this is a great family restaurant. The portions are generous and prepared well. Don’t expect anything too fancy and you will be very pleased.

Food was great, even the simple stuff like the tartar sauce was better than most places I’ve never had. Service was also outstanding. Despite being a little short staffed, food came quick and they checked on us regularly. It’s a humble place, but definitely going to come back again to try more items in the menu.

Stopped here one evening after looking around at RV spots. The staff was very friendly and Kim our waitress was so sweet to our 3 year old daughter. Food came quickly and drinks were kept full. Portion sizes were large. The Cuban sandwich was fantastic! Will be back again!

We started off with appetizers: wings and fried okra. The wings were great and the okra was very good. The meal was the fried shrimp with side of mashed potatoes and the 23 platter. All of it was excellent. The fried oysters were huge the brown gravy on the mashed potatoes was amazing. The staff and the owner were very friendly. Would recommend to anyone.
