Charlette served us our lunch and did a great job-friendly, timely, & helpful. Our food was delicious–we highly recommend the Old Timer Burger and Jenny’s Chili. We were asking about the area and another gal who worked here went out of her way to help us. We loved it all and will definitely be back!

Wandered into this small hometown family restaurant on a cold afternoon for dinner to grab a quick bite. Great friendly service, Fresh salad bar, homemade soups (lobster bisque) 24/7 breakfast, juicy burgers. It reminded us of grandma’s kitchen and a warm hug. They apologized for not having fresh baked pies. We’ll be back to try a slice for sure.

Can’t believe I’ve been living in Gladwin going on 2 years and never discovered this place. My wife actually found this place today after we picked my son up from school. Boy, I’m glad she did. I like burgers with egg so as I was driving she was telling me “they have an egg burger” I told her I’d take it. I didn’t know I was having an English breakfast sandwich . But she knew I would love it and that’s why she ordered it for me. My son got popcorn shrimp and he said it’s excellent as well. I could tell by the smell of it when I was driving that it was going to be super tasty. Also whoever made that put some love into it and I really appreciate that. I can always tell when love goes into the food. We will be back and also good service. It’s always appreciated! Update, the deep fried PP& J is sooooo good! This place keeps getting better and better!

We just discovered this adorable little diner and have been there twice already. It’s cute, clean, great service and amazing food! I love that their food is homemade, they have a great menu, a soup and salad bar, and specialty drinks and coffee. Great value and quality delicious food! Pictured is cod sandwich, cod dinner and lobster bisque. Piece of peanut butter pie that we split and still took half home! Check it out!

We came for brunch for my sons birthday and everything was fabulous! we got the monteCristo, country fried steak, Mac n cheeses, nuggets, applesauce and fried pickle spears.everything came out hot and fresh with a smile! Love supporting local restaurants and this is going forward a new favorite.

I’ve been here twice before (more than 6 mo ago) and everything was great, tonight was a different story. Waited a long time just for menus, then even more time to get our order taken, then what seemed an eternity to get our food. I saw her pick up the plates that had been sitting for quite some time under the heat lamp in unbelief that it was ours. I told her right then if the food was cold I’d send it back. Guess what… not even warm. My wife’s baked potato wasn’t even half cooked. We refused the food, paid for our drinks and left. I’ll admit an offer was made to re-do our food, but we didn’t have that much time. Horrible experience altogether. We won’t be back.

Amazing cook and owner!!! Phenomenal service. It felt like home. Kids were happy, mom was happy, food was beyond tasty! The giant coffee cup was a huge plus!
