The food and service has been great both times we’ve eaten at Pepo’s. I love the decor, lots of plants and such. The music is a bit too loud in our opinion, but that’s more of just a preference thing probably. It’s a good place to eat when we’re in town 🙂

1st time here. I went with the trusty taco salad. Ingredients I chose were good in the amount and taste. The shell was very tasteful. The service was nice. The music was good, but to loud. It was like eating at a sporting event loud. Overall, I will try this place again.

Very catchy building inside and outside, friendly staff, and very good food. But it’s different from your typical Mexican style restaurant as you build the quesadillas or the tacos or the burritos yourself very much like a Subway or Your Pie Pizza.

I ordered the chicken make it yourself bowl and it was so good but my husband ordered a bowl with tortilla bowl and it had been sitting up in the window they store the shells in and it taste like lemon disinfectant. It gave the bowl a horrible taste and the shrimp were so over cooked they were hard and just disgusting. Even though my food was decent, I don’t think we will be back for a while.

Best burrito I have had in years. I would drive several hours to get another one. But even better were the folks dishing up this amazing culinary delight. If you are thinking, “maybe I could go for a burrito,” don’t second guess it. Head right to Pepo’s. Seriously. Stop reading reviews and go get a burrito and meet some e nice folks.

I love Pepos. I don’t live in Athens anymore and Ive been craving it every day. So much better than Chipotle, I got that because I was craving pepos and it was very disappointing. Pepos needs to open a store in Murfreesboro asap. Their food is great and fresh and just tastes better than any other burrito bar I’ve ever been to.

Great food, reasonably priced. The ladies making the food were so sweet, as was the lady busing tables. My reason for taking off a star is a little bit minor, but it was just driving me crazy! It’s the thumping club music blaring from the speakers. I wish they were playing something more relaxing and pleasant while you eat.
