Good food, great service and a very laid back, stylish vibe. First time I’ve ever seen breaded Mahi on a Mahi Taco but it wasn’t an unpleasant surprise. The fish itself was flaky and flavorful but could have used either bigger mango pieces or more small ones and included was a side of one of the absolute best bean soups I have ever put to my lips. Hindsight, that could have been a whole meal in itself, as well. Plus, the “appetizer” of Yuca Fritters with Pork Belly is entirely too much for one person but very authentic. Steeper pricing than most but entirely worth the extra few dollars for the quality and the taste. I’m currently overstuffed and over-satisfied.

From start to finish, the experience was excellent. The service was outstanding, with staff who were upbeat, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, making the visit especially enjoyable. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with red sauce, which were perfectly satisfying. The rice was light and fluffy and complemented the beans beautifully. The margaritas were refreshing and hit the spot, making them the perfect finishing touch. This was my first visit, and it certainly won’t be my last.

In an area where there is a lot of Mexican food available, Pepito’s definitely stands out!
The food was phenomenal I had myself some Street tacos, some birria tacos, and some Street corn. The street tacos were really good, it was interesting that they came in plastic wrapping and you had to assemble it with the toppings yourself, but fully assembled, the tacos were fantastic!
The street corn was really unique, I can’t say I ever had something like it before but I’m not complaining!
Staff for super friendly, from the front desk lady who brought us to our table to the waiter who brought us our food, everybody was just so nice!
The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming, although their AC is cranked pretty high haha. They have a nice little waterfall, plenty of TVs for entertainment, the decor is also very nice.
My only complaint was that my glass of water tasted like a kitchen sink, but frankly that wasn’t enough for me to dock a point. I just hope that any staff who read this just keep in mind to wash and dry the glasses so that I’m not tasting soap in my water.

Great experience!! For the drinks – had the premium margarita (delicious) & husband had a frozen strawberry margarita (also delicious)! For food – I forget the name of the chicken dish I got but it was amazing – Chicken with a delightful sauce, onions, peppers, mushrooms & side of white rice. Also the king burrito with steak was so good!

Best margaritas in town!! hands down! Just ask for half Tajín, half salt on the rim and thank me later… pure heaven! They’ve got awesome drink specials on Mondays and a really good happy hour (I believe we got a whole pitcher for $10 bucks. I also tried the carne asada so much flavor and very tender. Honestly, this spot just hits every time!

Pepitos has always had great food but the service I just experienced was horrendous! I will never step back into this establishment. There’s no way I’m going to sit at a restaurant and be expected to tip with service like that. After waiting 10 minutes at the table with no service, we left. After leaving the building “Gabi” followed us out to argue with us? Very very rude, disrespectful. If you want to wait 10+ mins for a glass of water, and get chased out of the building after experiencing terrible wait service this is your spot! Pepitos is not the only Mexican restaurant in Fort Walton Beach FL, and with their rating of 3.5 stars, it’s obviously not the best either.

The food was absolutely amazing! Every one of our group had a great dinner and a great time. Employees are nice, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. (Bathrooms smell AMAZING) Absolutely everything about this place is great and definitely recommend. Had a great time!!

This place looked so good that we ordered too much food and couldn’t finish it all. Don’t make our mistake! Filled up on chips, salsa, empanadas and chicharron. Proceeded to not be able to finish our massive meal of steak, chicken, shrimp, fish, flautas, rice and beans. However don’t get me wrong. It was all incredibly delicious. I highly recommend the mar y tierra meal. It came with 6 grilled shrimp, grilled chicken, steak, grilled fish and a side of rice and beans. You will definitely have leftovers. Our waiter was super nice and timely. Great food at a decent price.

Came here for the first time for Cinco de Mayo and even though it was super busy, they were fantastic! Food was fresh and fast, and the next time we went was even better. Matt the bartender of 10 years made our experience all the more lovely. We will absolutely be back!
