Pepiteria +58 offers authentic Venezuelan flavors that are hard to find in the South Bay. The pepitos and arepas are flavorful, well-seasoned, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Portions are satisfying and the menu does a great job showcasing Venezuelan street food.

That said, be prepared to wait — the food does take a while to be ready, especially during busy hours. Prices are also on the higher side for casual dining, which may not make it an everyday spot.

Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re craving Venezuelan food and don’t mind the wait or the slightly premium pricing. Best enjoyed when you’re not in a rush and want to treat yourself to something different.

✨ Holis!!! We ordered the patacones and the cachapa and both were seriously delicious.

The patacones were huge and loaded — crispy fried plantain layers stuffed with shredded meat, ham, melted cheese, lettuce and sauce. The outside had that perfect crunch but the inside stayed soft. Super flavorful and messy in the best way. Definitely shareable… but you probably won’t want to

The cachapa was AMAZING. Sweet corn flavor, warm, buttery, topped with cheese and sauce — it tasted homemade and comforting. Not dry at all and perfectly cooked. You can tell everything is made fresh.

Portions are generous and filling, and the prices are worth it. The staff was welcoming and the place feels very authentic and family-owned.

If you’re in the South Bay and want real Venezuelan food (not just arepas), this spot is a hidden gem. We will definitely be coming back.

I’d noticed the place because Google maps suggested it and it had amazing reviews. Don’t hesitate to visit- the food, and service were amazing. The food was fresh, you may wait 20 minutes or so but the wait is worth it. You’ll get fresh, authentic food and the servings are HUGE. We tried the cachapa and the patacon. Each serving was enough for two so we left with a food coma. The staff were super friendly and let us know that their Sunday special is sopa de res so we’ll be back shortly!

Fairly new spot. Great service, friendly staff and delicious food. Authentic Venezuelan flavor.
We ordered the Todo Frito plate as appetizers and it did not disappoint; mandocas were right on the spot, combined with the cheese and nata – amazing. Tequeños are on the small side but very tasty, guava Tequeños are a twist on a traditional cheese Tequeños but the combination of sweet of the guava with the salty of the cheese is great.
The chicha is definitely the best I’ve had in LA, is a must. The side of chicharron (pork) is sharing size for sure. Cachapas are so tasty, the queso de mano was delicious.
Portions are big in general.
Parking is free, is part of the mall right in front of the business. Small tables, enough for 5-6 tops but can accommodate.
Highly recommended.

This place was really, really good.

We ordered Cachapa, Pasteles and Pepito.

All delicious but the cachapa and pepito were exceptional.

My mom wanted a coffee the way she likes it “marron fuerte” and the owner made it himself, even though that was not part of the menu.

I definitely recommend it!
