This is a great cafe to work out of, it’s basically guaranteed that the person next to you is being productive here.
There are outlets spread out around, although some areas I couldn’t see one nearby, like the seats by the window right next to the door. There are also gender neutral restrooms down the hall by the counter.
I got an iced matcha latte and a pastry, both of which I enjoyed. The prices aren’t too bad either.
I’d definitely come back in the future!
During the past few weeks, Pepita Coffee has been one of my go-to spots for coffee and sandwiches. At first glance, the place looks like a secret local gem, but despite its ample seating, encompassing bar stools and comfortable couches, snagging a spot can be a challenge.
From their drinks, I really enjoyed their lattes. Both the Earl Grey Latte and the Matcha Latte were smooth, with their bitterness toned down without being overly sweet.
Where Pepita really excels is in food. All the sandwiches I tried were spot on with flavors. On the avocado toast, they used large flakes of salt and a pinch of chili powder to enhance the umami of the avocado, and pickled onions and a splash of lime juice to give an extra tang. Served chill, the roasted portobello & caramelized onion sandwich had a satisfying sweetness and smokiness combo that was further enhanced with their special sauce. The breakfast croissant sandwich, complete with a spicy kick from banana peppers, was another great treat.
If you’re looking for flavorful light meals and good drinks in a lively atmosphere, I highly recommend checking them out.
I don’t usually eat there, only a pastry and a coffee, but every single one of the pastries is delicious. The rest of the food looks really good, and most people are sitting there for a quick breakfast (the prices are definitely fair). It is a great spot for studying or working with your laptop. The music is really good and it feels like an open space for students and people working from home. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
