This was our first experience with Pepe’s Taqueria, and we will definitely be back based on our positive experience. We ordered through UberEats and I picked up the food rather than delivery. The Fajita Burrito was enormous. I was blown away. I am not a usual Quesadilla fan, but I think it is because I have ordered them from the wrong places. I loved the moist filling of this Quesadilla and everything about it. My wife ordered the Enchiladas Verdes that I included in the photos taken. We are very glad we finally tried Pepe’s Taqueria.

My partner and I visited on Monday, to have a casual dinner. First Impression, I did not know if I was supposed to wait by the door to be seated or approach the counter pass the bar but once I was noticed a minute later, I was kindly greeted and told to sit anywhere. A few people were at the bar and 2 other tables were there.
Daniela was our server and she was nice, fast, and attentive. We had drinks, apps served within 20 minutes and food served right when we were done with apps. The food here is well portioned and affordable in comparison to other restaurants (flavor wise they are winning here too). Compliments to the chefs everything was seasoned, properly cooked, and presented well.
There was Latin music in the background and the vibe was relaxed and warm. I will definitely be returning for date nights here.
The reason I do not give it a 10/10 is because the greeting/host area was not clear for a new customer, the parking is hidden so you assume there’s no where to park, and personally the texture of the guacamole was not visually appealing but tasted delicious as well as the lettuce was super cold.

It was awful! Margarita took forever to get, was way watered down and they made it wrong. Bar is right at the door and freezing! Caso dip was gross and cold. They never took my order… Too busy talking to their friends. Won’t be back… I was looking forward to going there too!

So for our latest adventure, we gave a second try to a place that’s been popping up again so we thought, what the heck. The last time we went was probably 10 years ago. Well, it wasn’t any better this time than I remembered. Not awful, but not great. Right in the middle I’d say. Definitely no Taco Spot!
The place is decorated very cute and there is parking out back which is a plus.
Our bartender was Very new but polite and did a good job for a greenie. The girl training her seemed to be fairly new as well but they were both pleasant and eager to please.
My wife went simple on the drinks and just had a couple of black Russians as she can’t stand tequila but I’m a fan and had a couple of Palomas. They were tasty and well done.
The food was the biggest let down for us here. Chips and salsa were brought out right away and the salsa had julienned carrots which was different but not unpleasant. For an app we had the stuffed Jalapenos. Like a stuffed pepper, literally but with a bit of Mexican flair. They were ok but fairly bland. For meals my wife had the Chimichanga and I had the Chipotle Diabla Shrimp. Again, the dishes were just ok. Definitely not somewhere I’d look forward to going back to.
On to the next one!!
Side note: If you’re looking for tacos outside of Worcester, AfroFusion in Webster has Birria tacos! I’ve had them twice now and they are delicious!

The service was professional and polite. I was well taken care of throughout my experience here. There are a good variety of options of food and drinks. The passionfruit daiquiri was very good, best I’ve ever had. The tacos are a great choice for quality and value. I would definitely return to this place and recommend it to anyone. This really feels like an authentic Spanish restaurant experience.

Visited early afternoon on a Saturday. Street parking was not a problem. Nice outdoor patio area and a spacious bar with high tops in the front. Rear dining room had mostly large tables that can easily seat 6 comfortably.
Service was good and frequent check ins made sure we were not left waiting anything.
Mole Enchilada’s were very good and both the rice and refried beans were some of the best I have ever had.
Wife had the 3 enchilada plate and all were good. She agreed that the rice and beans were exceptional.
Value for the $$$ is excellent, very reasonable prices for top notch meals is a hard combo to beat anywhere.

1st timer, sat at the bar. The bar is awkwardly high or the chairs are low, not comfortable to sit at. The service was excellent I’ll say that. The food not so much. The salsa was watery, bland and had carrots which was really weird. The chips were okay at best, pretty standard tasted like a grocery store bag. Margaritas were okay, not bad but nothing special. Tacos were okay, not a ton of flavor but they did have a lot of meat. Wife’s carne asada burrito bowl was kind of gross and had grizzly large chunks of meat, it looked very low quality. We won’t be back.

Have gone multiple times to try the food and can say that it’s one of the better Mexican places I’ve been too in New England. Being Mexican myself I love Mexican food and have been looking for places in the Northeast to go and enjoy some good food, and this place is one the best. Their portion sizes are just right, except for the nachos which are huge for two people to share, but still delicious. Sometimes their quality can lack and you’ll get watery beans but otherwise their food is good. The only problem I have with this place is that their salsa feels and tastes super watered down, and their queso is subpar at best, but once you get past that, the rest of the menu is really tasty.
