Don’t eat here I came from finding it on the map. Got nachos and it looked like they just dumped all the ingredients on there
The meat was bland
And when I told the waitress she just said it’s what you ordered
I pointed to the menu pics and said this is no where near what I ordered she just shrugged it off
And if I finished even 10% I wouldn’t have minded to pay but I took 2-3 bites and told her it didn’t taste right and she again said oh ok I’ll get you a box
$20 waisted

I just walked out in tears. I waited 30 minutes for my takeout order. After 15 minutes i politely checked the status of my order. They got the order wrong (errors happen). The person taking the order was dismissive. I am lightheaded and was on my lunch break which my had been exceeded. Every patron ahead of me was served and had left. When i addressed the lack of professionalism and respect I was met with a curt “okay”. I do hope they understand that patrons make the business. I enjoy their food, but will not return to this establishment.

It is extremely expensive if you buy anything with steak in it. My favorite is the taco salad. However, that is not what I ordered. I ordered two beef tacos, one hard shell, and one soft shell. The beef did not taste authentic. It was extremely mushy with a watery texture. I had to pay $1.50 for sour cream . I had fries which were hot and a drink. I do not recommend the beef tacos. The hard shell taco was the best.

Enjoyed the shrimp fajitas. This is one of my favorites! Note–salt was on the table, none needed. The flavors were seasoned to perfection. This meal came with corn tortilla shells. I’ve never had anything bad from this Pepe’s!

I have to take away ALL of my stars for this place I would. After enjoying my meal the first visit then deciding to return, I was met with prejudIceness, presumptions, rude behavior for a business owner, and blatant disrespect. NEVER AGAIN!

This place is crazy! This is the worst Pepe’s in the chi! Spent 50 bucks for 2 burritos and 1 steak taco which wasn’t the issue the problem was both burritos had cheddar cheese on them! Called them the next day because they closed and they did nothing but said we’ve made our burritos with cheddar cheese for years u have to request the Mexican cheese that belongs on a burrito! lol what a joke! Not to mention they don’t even have margaritas! I think a better Mexican restaurant would suit this community!
