This is always a solid option in downtown Clermont. If you’re looking for Mexican food, it’s really good. I’d honestly say it’s a bit more Tex-Mex style than some other more traditional Mexican restaurants, but you know you’re getting consistently good food and service when you come to Pepe’s Cantina! It hits the spot and satisfies the craving! They have an excellent tableside guacamole which is an absolutely must-try when coming here (be sure to bring a few dollars for a tip!), they have MASSIVE burritos over a foot long, and all of the Mexican staples: soft and hard tacos, chimichangas, enchiladas, fajitas, steak dishes, and much more. They have an extensive alcohol menu, tons of great appetizers, and a special each day of the week! The first time you come, be sure to read the wall to see which specials are on which day! Their steak dishes are always great options (like the churrasco or Carne asada), any dish with octopus is very good, the XXL burritos are always a favorite when we take visitors from out of town here, and mole enchiladas are excellent. It’s you’re pescatarian, one of our visitors always likes the Mexican Caesar salad with shrimp – so that’s another great option! These are just a few suggestions we have out of the many good items on the menu – just know you can get most things and be very satisfied with your meal! Pepe’s Cantina is definitely one of the best restaurant options in downtown Clermont!

Service was good. They did gluten free well. Hand made guacamole was REALLY good. Disappointed in that you couldn’t get a taco and an enchilada to eat. Having never been there before wasn’t sure what I liked… The dinner was either one or the other. No separate items or combos. So went with enchilada dinner. Husband had the Taco. Neither of us thought much about the food. The enchiladas had a sweet taste… Very meh. That said… The drinks were small but good. So probably won’t be back. But depending on your taste preferences you might like it. Gluten free options on menu and that was nice.
