We really enjoyed this quaint little place for dining on our Key West trip. It had just the right variety for the 5 of us to pick what we wanted. There was no wait and we sat close to the door and fan which was perfect for my husband with one leg. We tried some new dishes we never tried before like the fish dip, Pork chop smothered steak, and delicious blackened fish sandwich, all were delicious! Great service and one of our favorite places while there in town. The prices were great too!

Stopped in to eat here as had read good reviews about the Key Lime Pie and it did not disappoint. Was our first taste of Key lime pie after just arriving in the Keys and it set the bar. So creamy and just the right mix of tart & sweet. Blackened snapper sandwich was fresh & tasty. Be careful though as I found a couple bones. Service was good and everything else we ordered was tasty.

Wow, so glad we stopped in. It’s a small place with big taste. The pineapple-blackberry, candied walnut French toast wasn’t breakfast….it was dessert! Sooooo good. The egg-chorizo-potato tacos were oh so good as well.

Go visit Adrienne at the bar. You will not be disappointed! Great cocktails and an amazing environment. Tucked away next to some of the best hot spots in Key West. This is a great spot to get a nice refreshment, breakfast, lunch, dinner, or appetizers. Whatever you are in the mood for they will make sure you love your time there.

good food. Not a huge fan of the potatoes, but they’re good nonetheless. BLT was fantastic and my mother said the croissant sandwich was good as well. Also really enjoyed the hot sauce on the table.

Glad we listened to a friend’s recommendation and came here for brunch. Only about a 15 minute wait on a Saturday just before noon. Service was friendly, and the food was delicious. Great omelettes, sides, coffee, and cocktails. Would visit again on a future trip to Key West.

The food was definitely delicious. Unfortunately, the waitress we had didn’t seem to pay attention to what we wanted and got sides and orders wrong. The menu also states you get a percentage off your check for liking their Facebook and Instagram which I did and they did not honor that.

We had a wonderful experience for breakfast & lunch at Pepe’s. One of our top spots after 5 days of eating out multiple times. Food was excellent both meals and the service superb. We had an especially great experience at the bar for lunch with Sylvia our bartender. She made an incredible Bloody Mary and always attentive. The oysters were extra special (& the price at $1.75 per oyster fantastic). We’ll definitely be back very soon.

I made the Pepe’s key lime pie a few times from the recipe posted on Epicurious a few times during lockdown, and having read more about the place, knew we needed to pay a visit on our short return to Key West. Very happy to say it did not disappoint. We arrived for a late lunch when it was incredibly hot outside in late January, and Nina our server was so very friendly and helpful. She kindly made me a home made key lime lemonade when they didn’t have the soft drink I preferred. The food was very fresh and very good portions for the price. The grilled cheese with ham was plenty, and the fish tacos special had a very nice fresh salsa on top. My cold peel shrimp were excellent, just a bit of bite/spice to them and perfectly cooked. And then of course – the key lime pie. This was absolutely worth the trip alone – we’ve had many key lime pies on our trips to key west and wider Florida, but this is our clear winner. The filling is SO silky, and with a rounded sweetness (which the recipe hinted was from the condensed milk, if it’s still the same). If you’re after an “iconic” restaurant in Key West but without the ‘iconic’ (read: expensive) prices, Pepe’s is an excellent choice – from food to service to location, everything was so lovely and if we are back in town, we will definitely return.

Hands down some of the best fish tacos I’ve ever had. The Mexican roast oysters were also very good. Service was super friendly 🙂
