Social Profile:

Formerly The People’s Bank in 1905, this five-sided building in the heart of downtown Silverton was constructed with horses and pulleys. In 2018 the building was extensively remodeled, transforming the original bank vault into a walk-in cooler to hold the treasured taps of local Oregon beers and ciders. Also featured is a hand built wood fired pizza oven with which to prepare all manner of pizzas and other dishes, utilizing local ingredients. Locally owned and operated, offerings include pizza for the adventurous alongside classic favorites. Due to limited seating we are 21 and ove Fun Fact: this historic building was filmed in a bank robbery scene for the 2000 movie Bandits starring Billy Bob Thornton, Bruce Willis, and Cate Blanchett.

We stopped by here last weekend to try it out. Since we don’t eat often it’s definitely a treat.
We and 1 other couple were in the restaurant. The older blonde waitress surprisingly was not very pleasant which was odd. I have worked my whole life in customer service and know what it means to make customers feel welcome.
We ordered cheese sticks and the sign said marinara or spicy ranch so I asked to split both so we can try them.
We ordered a whole pizza as well. When the pizza came she put it on the table and walked away, no talking, no plates for it, just left, so weird. We used our tiny bread plates then I had to go to find her to ask for forks. I had aked for. some more pickled red onion as the bread sticks came with like 4 little rings.
At the end she said I will bring foil for the leftovers and I said can I please get a box so she brought it and said just pay up front. The total would have been $34.00 but she said $38.50? I saw she charged us for the box, I said if you had told me there was a box charge I would have taken foil. It also said custom tax $1.50 and who knows what else she tacked on but at this point we were done.
I will never recommend this place unless you get their cheese sticks to go. It’s employees like this that can make it look bad for the owners.
I enjoy giving positive reviews and appreciate nice servers as I realize they have a tough job, but this is a no go.
Bummer. The next day we ate a cute little breakfast place in Portland, they all greeted nicely, check on us, great food and didn’t charge of for a side of ranch or pickled onions.
Total turn off when restaurants nickel and dime you. It’s expensive enough.
Cheese sticks and ranch yummy tho.

Some of the best pizza we’ve ever had and 100% the best wood fired pizza we’ve ever had.
Owners are super nice and friendly. My husband and I stopped here after hiking Silver Falls and it was exactly what we were looking for. We did two flights to try a lot of what they had. We are big cider fans and they had some of the widest selections we’ve seen. Every single one was good. We even tried a more unique one, a milk chocolate stout, had never heard of that before but it was actually chocolatey and it was actually good. Definitely worth coming by, if we lived here we would be going all the time.

I love their pizza and friendly service!
We have been coming here at least once a month the past few years. They have several great options. We always order the large pizzas to make sure there are leftovers for the next day

The historic bank is the perfect setting for an affordable but inventive bite to eat while wandering the streets of downtown town Silverton. Extra points for being the bank from Bandits (fun film).

Service was swift and attentive without being overbearing; they also accommodated a cocktail not on their menu, so above and beyond. Note that their cocktail bar is built for the specialty cocktails they create, not a place for an everyday rum and coke or mixer margarita.

Early afternoon diners started to roll in after we were seated, a few were locals and greeted by name. That speaks well for a place, and the people who work there.

When we ordered, the food came quickly, but that is one of the glories of wood fire cooking. The stuffed mushrooms (we upgraded to crab), were warm, with a nice light heat crust to the melted cheese.

The pizza we split half and half after being told we could, again, great service. We had one half Mountain for a more traditional take, but the Lemon half was the stand out. Unexpected sharp lemon starts to be sensed as you raise it to your mouth and then it blends with the cheeses, balsamic, tomatoes, and healthy amount of pesto as you bite into it. This is something I will be trying at home.

Excellently curated tap list that is not just IPA, many ciders as well. Excellent on all levels service, quality, location, speed, and value. 21 and over only.

Very good brick oven pizza. The crust is delicious, crispy yet fluffy. Regular size pizza they can do ½ & ½ no extra charge. Beer on tap was good & tasty N/A drinks too!

The only thing good about our visit was that we were seated when we first walked in around 6pm. There were 2 other tables of 5-7 patrons that had already ordered. We asked how long it would take for food, and were told by the lady (owner?) that it “wouldn’t be very long at all because the wood fired oven can get up to 500*”. We weren’t in any big rush but didn’t want to be out too late. We each got a beverage fairly quickly – within 10 minutes of being seated. We waited over 2 hours in total to have mediocre pizza with a very burnt crust, lasagna that was cold in the middle … and 2 tables that came in 30 & 45 minutes after us got all of their food before us. We tried to ask for more water and inquire about our food but she would not even approach our table. When I got up to ask about the other tables getting their food she was very rude in her response that “he was getting to it because the order of the food being made got messed up”. So we ordered more beverages. We were agitated but tried to give benefit of the doubt because there were only 2 people working. People we knew walked in and we said they could join us … they never got to even order a drink after waiting for 15 minutes at the bar for her to not acknowledge them.
The bad attitude of the waitress, the less than quality food, poor customer service & the total cost of our tab (she took off the cost of a beer)… we will never go back to this place or recommend it to anybody. Sad because we were pretty excited to dine there that evening.

Walked in with kids to order pizza to go. Immediately told no minors allowed in their restraunt. They wouldn’t even offer to have pizza made to go. Basically told us to get out. Poor customer service.

It was really quiet when we went in. We enjoyed chatting with the waitstaff. The raspberry cider was excellent, and I love brick oven pizza. By the time we left, several more people came in, and the atmosphere became more lively. I’d definitely go back.
Update: this is the 4th or 5th time. We’ve decided it’s the best pizza in Silverton.

Extremely expensive for minimal food. I ordered a pizza on line for a pizza and a salad. Pizza was cold upon pickup and it tasted like salt. Ended up in the garbage. You can look yourself at the price of their pizza and I’m pretty sure it isn’t even 12” diameter. Salad was good (also very expensive) that would leave even a rabbit hungry. Even more frustrating = their online ordering forces you to tip. Since I drove there and served it to myself shouldn’t I get the tip?
