I can confidently say People’s Choice in Miramar is the best Jamaican food spot I’ve found in South Florida! The flavors are authentic, the portions are generous, and everything I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious. Last year, they catered my Thanksgiving dinner, and the food was such a hit that several of my co-workers tried it — and now it’s our go-to spot for Jamaican food!
Special shoutout to Nachelle — she’s a gem! Every time I’ve been helped by her, the customer service has been warm, welcoming, and professional. And her cooking? Top tier. She truly puts love into everything she serves. Thank you, Nachelle, for always making our experience amazing!

We were getting pedicures a few doors down and were curious after reading the really good reviews on Google!
Well lo and behold the reviews were right!
The people’s choice wings were seasoned and juicy, sweet and spicy goodness! The veggie patty was yum yum! The crust was flaky and flavourful!
The conch soup was a great thick “stick to your ribs” kinda of soup, it was more like a stew!
Thank you to Ashley for greeting us with her warm, welcoming spirit! She is truly an asset to this establishment!

OMG you have to try this place. Great for vegetarians, omnis, and meat eaters.
-Veggie chunks with brown stew A+ (I’m guessing a soy meat alternative was used)
-Rice and red beans really good
-Jerk chicken well flavored and extremely tender
-Chicken tenders really flavorful and juicy.
-Carrot cake was amazing
-Bammy (fried cassava) pretty good
-Fried dumpling was like a really tender biscuit (I could eat a dozen by myself)
This place is busy and that good. 8 beef patties just came out from the kitchen and a lady bought all of them at once.
Service was exceptional, welcoming, and friendly.

I normally buy food from here, the people are super nice.
However, last week I order their wings they must have drop the wings in oil that was too hot because it was extra dark outside side and pink and bloody inside so thought it was a fluke yet today ordered a steamed fish and they didn’t even scale the fish disgusting.
Maybe it a newchef or maybe they just taking short cuts.
Well if this is it they will lose customers because they’re way too many Jamaican restaurants in miramar

The food looked and smelled so good, I had already ravished it before remembering to take a picture for my review. Then came the taste….. WELL seasoned, WELL spiced from the meat (I had both the oxtail and fish), to the cabbage , to the rice. DEFINITELY recommend

My 1st time here and i will keep coming back, food is excellent well seasoned and nice size portions! i had jerk chicken and curry chicken, both were AMAZING! Kadiann was great and professional

Update 3: Everyone look at the regular photo section and look at the peoples choice wet looking wings..alot of sauce…now look at my DRY wings in my photos. Why ask me if i want gravy if youre going to serve dry wings. False advertisement! Be consistent. I wanted the wings with the so called special sauce. Im left w white rice and dry wings. Grade F
Update 2: the curry goat was fyahhhh! Again my cabbage was full of curry. I dont want my veggies drenched with the main dish. Grade A

There was oddly alot of cabbage mixed (not normally in this dish) in the dish. Curry Cabbage Shrimp? LOL Now the oxtail in the pan looked delicious therefore i will give peoples choice another try at the oxtail and their yummy looking red velvet cake. Grade C
