We came up here because the Squeeze Inn was closed and boy are we glad we found this place! It is very unassuming, tucked in with a 76 gas station off of the freeway, however, the food was excellent and the service matched. We got fried pickles and the monster pretzel as starters and would definitely order again. Then we got two burgers, the brisket plate, and the locomoco plate. The brisket was cut-with-your-fork tender! And the serving sizes were very generous. 10 out of 10 would recommend! Will definitely be back. Next time we will be coming on a Friday because they have clam chowder in a bread bowl as well as fried calamari and fried clams. Be advised those are only on Fridays though!

I have been there twice. The shrimp tacos were very good. Then I got the smoke shack burger. It was very good. I believe that it was a special patty. Brisket? I am very picky. I have been a cook at a lot of very good restaurants.

Beautiful restaurant attached to the 76 with an amazing server, delicious food, inside of a comfortable atmosphere! There’s outside seating too! Inside has 5 large screen TV’s and another smaller one on the opposite wall. I’m surprised at just how good the food was!! Restaurant quality for sure! I got a grilled chicken, my husband got a burger, both came with crunchy seasoned fries. Two thumbs up and a gold star!

I’ve seen Penryn Grill and finally decided to stop for lunch on our way home from Auburn to the valley. Great decision. Food was wonderful. Don’t hesitate to stop here. You won’t be disappointed.

Surprisingly very good burger. Definitely one of the better spots in the area for a legit 1/2 lb burger. They also have a nice outdoor shaded eating area. The inside bar area is also nicely done. Our server was also great. Don’t let the location next to gas station scare you, it works well.

Staff was incredibly sweet, down to earth, helpful and accommodating. They were professional and prompt but somehow also made it feel like they were old friends, and this was only during a 20 minute stop to have a beer. Love these people and will be back to eat and hang out 🙂

Was totally surprised by this place tonight. Driving home from a ski day and they had something for everyone in our fam. The brisket was next level and my wife loved the salad. Great beer selection and apps were on point. It’s only a matter of time before this place is on Triple D.
