The food was delicious. The cream of crab soup had a lot of crab meat in it and was comparable to she crab soup in the Carolinas. The atmosphere is wonderful in the old stone building. Service was poor, it took over an hour and a half to get a chicken salad and lobster roll sandwich and the place wasn’t extremely busy while we were there. We received no refill on our drinks and an appetizer which we ordered was never brought out which would’ve been nice considering the long wait. Locals seem to enjoy this place and maybe if we’re in the area we will try again.

What An amazing experience! The food was one of the best meals I have had. Great service and cool rustic atmosphere. Ordered the salmon and macaroni and cheese and was incredible. All the food we got was so delicious. Will definitely go back!! And recommend to friends!

We are new in town, and came here from a recommendation to take a friend that was in town. We wanted something by the river, and this exceeded our expectations! It was an absolutely beautiful view. Especially this time of year with all of the colors. The food was great as well. I had a Cuban, my husband had the fried chicken sandwich, and our friend had the fish and chips. The breading was nice and crisp. Drinks were good as well!

Great service and food. Wonderful river view if you do the outside seating. Make reservations ahead if you want outside or specific seating.

This is a great place to come for dinner. They offer inddor and outdoor seating, as well as an option to bring your dog with you. I do highly recommend making reservations though as they tend to be busy and do turn people away. But I love that they kept the historical architecture of the building in tact. I’ve even seen reenactment actors dressed in costume here on occasion!
