Today was my first time visiting this Restaurant, the food was amazing!!! Everything was freshly made, taste the best, my food was a beautiful golden brown. The flavor was the best. I love the presentation. Everything was so fresh. It was freshly made. I am absolutely taken. I would like to thank the l team . everything was good thank you so much. . My first visit and I am looking forward to another one. Everything was hot and fresh . there is not anything bad that I could say about My visit today. The ladies at the front are sweet. How this establishment is still open is a mystery. It’s nasty, the workers are rude and the food taste old. I pulled up to the drive through reluctant to eat here. After waiting 10 min I went inside to find the workers standing around laughing and joking. I guess I inconvenienced them by wanting to order food so I left. I wouldn’t feed my dog this crap!!!!!!

The fish was bland, and the service was poor, I love Penns but the one in Madison didn’t do it justice. Yall Penns in Canton Ms is the real deal. Have a fried Mushroom if you can have just one.

7/18/2025: about 6:48 pm- The food was tasty equal to the one on Lake Harbor. Green beans are salty at both. This food appears to be bought in semiprepared and seasoned. The service was poor, the lady that took the order was sitting and never looked up, no eye contact not even a hello. When I told her I read reviews that said this store what’s better in service and food than the other one on Lake Harbor. She didn’t say that she was just wore out. She had been working lhard as it had been busy and she was just tired.

The food is usually hot and good, and they give me plenty. However, the health inspection grade was a B on my last visit. The new cashier was very friendly and efficient. HOWEVER, one of the female kitchen staff came out wearing socks and flip flops; pretty sure that’s a violation. Won’t go back for a while.

Called in and placed my order, everything sounded good. Worker took my order and she ended with “it will be ready when you get here”. Didn’t think much of it. Got there and got my food fairly quickly. I was on my lunch break so I didn’t inspect the bag. Got home and noticed that my box was inside of another bag tied up tight. Uh oh. Had a bad feeling from here. Open the bag and saw that my fish and fried okra were both old and she had just put the box in the microwave to warm it because the box was deformed from the microwave melting it. Greens were hot though. It wasn’t packed or anything. Worker just didn’t want to give me fresh food. Won’t be back
