American Anthems
This was one of the most underwhelming meals I’ve had in recent memory — and not due to service, but entirely because of the food.
The pizza served was simply unacceptable: thick, dry, flavorless, and poorly constructed. It resembled a mass of overbaked dough with carelessly tossed toppings. At $18, the result was not just disappointing. A frozen pizza from Aldi or even a gas station slice would’ve been an upgrade in both taste and texture.
Let’s be clear: this isn’t about culinary preference — it’s about basic standards. When you charge premium prices for something that doesn’t clear even minimal thresholds of quality, that’s a broken product.
That said, I want to distinguish the team on the floor. The waiter was attentive and courteous, the host at the entrance handled guests with poise and professionalism, and the restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained.

We ordered the the special – lobster ravioli – and the taste was a little off. It was pretty fishy which we didn’t love. The lasagna was good in my opinion, but someone in the party said it tasted sweet and wasn’t a fan. It was a decent portion! The short rib ravioli was incredible. No complaints there at all.

The server did comp the lobster ravioli that we didn’t eat, which was appreciated.

A plate of spaghetti and meatballs is $20… that’s ridiculous. For $20, it better be MIND-BLOWING. We also got pizza and chicken parm and they were good too. Nothing crazy. The service was fine. We paid for a drink change even though a refill would have been the same and I had to wait a long time for a refill even though I asked before I got my food.

Decent place for Italian, but a little too pricey for what you get.

We liked this place. My kids ordered Mac and cheese and spaghetti. They ate it all. We ordered lasagna and chicken main dish. Nice flavors. It is a quiet place and friendly to kids. Mine said we have to come back here.

Pretty disappointing meal. Before tax, I think it came out to 34 dollars. Would have been a better experience if there was a complimentary salad or bread, but for some reason that’s only for lunch. My ziti al telefono was nothing special, it’s pasta and sauce. Pizza was edible, but once again, nothing amazing. Expected a lot more for what I paid.

The mussels were really good. You have a choice between red sauce or white wine. The focaccia bread was good. My boyfriend had the lasagna. Good but nothing special. I had a create your own pasta. Fettuccine with carbonara sauce and salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The carbonara fettuccine was standard. Finished up with creme brulee, which was too sweet for me. Ample parking, standard service, chill atmosphere, everything on menu is ala carte.
