My networking group meets here for breakfast every week and the space, food, and staff are awesome. Recently I used them to cater a party with 50 people. They did a great job. Tammy was super helpful in the planning stage and everything came together. The food was a hit.

Restaurant is attractive, staff is super friendly and helpful, and food is delicious. Everything is so fresh and delicious. I’m partial to the Turkey Hoagies. The fresh Italian role is scooped (seeded or not), making room for piled-on (what tastes like it must be freshly cut) Turkey. Add on lettuce, tomato, onions, sweet peppers, hot peppers, Oregano and black pepper, (and oil or maybe a little mayo) and you’ll need to use two hands to lift up half of the 10-inch masterpiece.
Eat it with a bag of chips, and add a soda.

We recently celebrated our daughter’s fourth birthday at Penna’s, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The room we rented was perfect for our gathering, with ample space for kids to play and adults to mingle. But what truly made the event special was Tammy, our event coordinator. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, from the layout of the room to the quality of the food.
Tammy’s enthusiasm and creativity really shone through when it came to the presentation of the food. Instead of a basic spread, she created a visually stunning display that caught everyone’s attention. The platters were meticulously arranged, and it was clear she had put a lot of thought into the details. What could have been a typical array of sandwiches and appetizers turned into a feast for the eyes.
The food itself was incredible. We had a mix of hot and cold sandwiches, along with antipasto and Caesar salads. Each dish was prepared to perfection and bursting with flavor. The sandwiches were a particular hit, with a variety of fillings that pleased both kids and adults alike.
Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food and the overall experience. It truly made our daughter’s birthday party memorable. I would highly recommend Penna’s for anyone planning a small event or even just wanting a delicious meal. The service is top-notch, and the staff genuinely cares about making your event special. If you’re in the area, definitely give them a try—you won’t be disappointed!

I decided to stop here with my mom about 20 minutes prior to them closing last Saturday, around 3:40 or so. In any event, I ordered an Italian Hoagie which was packed with meat and tasted pretty good. The deli inside is clean and bright The older woman who rang me up seemed ready to get out of there, and we decided to take our food to go, despite my mom wanting to remain there and eat. The old woman behind the counter tried to discourage us from staying, which I kind of understood given the relatively short time remaining until closing. She could have been a bit more pleasant though. The food choices like the pasta in the freezer seemed decent as well. The selection appeared to be limited however, which was somewhat surprising as well. Perhaps they were simply depleted from a rush of customers throughout the day. The young people behind the counter were also pleasant and helpful. The hoagie was quite filling.

Went there for a hoagie today and was quite impressed. Bread was freshly baked and just the right texture, deli meats imported and other ingredients were equally tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all my questions about what to order. I got the Penna’s Italian Hoagie on seeded bread (recommended!). Noticed they also sell a good variety of frozen and cold Italian pastas and sauces, they also carry the local Corropolese tomato pie.
A little tip: if you get the large hoagie you can easily cut each quarter in half to serve 8 people! Such a great value for a high quality sandwich.

I came here to pickup a sandwich for lunch and am so glad I decided to give Penna’s a try! I got a chicken cutlet sandwich with broccoli rabe and sharp provolone and it was unreal!! Top 5 best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The chicken cutlet was so good and the broccoli rabe reminded me of what my nonna used to make.

I was in the area, literally in the parking lot and I couldn’t resist stopping in.
If I worked there I would gain pounds and pounds from all of scratch made Italian foods they have. I did grab a jar of marinara because I remember having tasted it at their Fireside Restaurant and it was outstanding.
Staff was super friendly and the food was outstanding. I need another reason to be down in Spring House soon!

Picked up Lunch from Penna’s yesterday and was very impressed. I got the chicken cutlet with sharp prov and broccoli rabe and was awesome. Probably my favorite italian cutlet sandwich locally. I’ll definitely be back to try some others, the whole menu looked great

Picked up an Italian Hoagie from here earlier this week and wanted to give credit where credit is due! What a great little spot right outside ambler. The shop is very nice on the inside and its stocked with all my favorites from growing up and even some other local favs like corpolese. Will definitely be back to try another one of their sandwiches. Highly recommend this spot!

Just went for the first time on Wednesday and I as really impressed. The assortment of frozen meals soups, I was in heaven .The customer service was wonderful. I was surprised that they’re not open for dinners because they have such a beautiful space. I had one problem and I did call when I got home. I had a sandwich made and there was an issue, and they said, just when you come back let us know and we’ll take care of it. Fast forward to today Friday. I think it’s the 21st of February and I went in and I told the people my name and about the sandwich and the wonderful Tammy. Took such great care of me. Made me 2 of the most wonderful sandwiches. My husband really liked the mixture on top of the Penna, Italian. Said it was amazing, and my sandwich was fabulous. I felt like I was back home in New York and New Jersey. Eating those great sandwiches.Can’t wait to come back again.This has become my new favorite place.
