Totally Awesome experience with Penn Station, and Tom, who should be manager soon. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. The people were friendly and in a good mood, especially Tom who should be manager soon. He works hard to make everyone feel right at home, and to make sure everything is ok, and asking if we needed anything several times.

I also appreciate the fact that he brought out our food when it was ready, and did not make us all wait for all the meals at the same time. I would rather have our meals fresh, and hot straight off the grill, and right out of the fryer.

We had some buy one get one free coupons we used, and Tom happily took them, and talked to us as if we were family. He did the same for everyone in the restaurant, so Tom has a really big family!!!

Two Thumbs up Brother, you are awesome, and you made our experience at Penn Station an Awesome Experience we will remember forever!! We will be back soon, as the food was Super Delicious and Hot!!! Perfect!

First time.. the subs were very yummy.. the service was excellent and fast… cheesesteak and classic Italian is what we had along with some of the best fresh cut fries I’ve ever eaten!! They were perfectly cooked and crispy Would definitely go back to this or any other location to try some other flavor subs and to get more fries!!

First impression was off, the manager had a friend in store and there ride outside with a screaming crying child to the point it got my attention. We walk in and no joke the manager Noah tells us he’s closing up at 926 on a Saturday evening and when asked if he could make our food proceeds to tell us ” naw I don’t feel like doing all that” and gestures with hands and points to the grill and says I’m closing up”. For one my husband ran this store for YEARS and isn’t no way Jeff would have dealt with rude nonsense. I read the previous posts and can tell what customer had interactions with Noah that pulls him away from his personal life that can be seen in video JEFF 12/27/2025@ 926 PM
you will see your good paid employees ” hard at work doing absolutely nothing but slouchingnon equipment that makes it unsanitary to use for guests and there meals furthermore when did having your friends at work visiting stop you from running a well known corporate establishment? Word of mouth is terrible and with this economy and your little wanna be thug acting manager will definitely see the decline in business at that special location as to we literally had to laugh in this man’s face because we know James shift lead @ north green will happily take care of you!!! Appreciate the lastinute sandwiches and appreciae you being so kind James, as you didn’t know we just came from the burkhardt location and that’s why we’re walking in but the restaurant looks fantastic!!! And your a head working man sir it didn’t go unnoticed!!!!

This restaurant was absolutely filthy. The women’s restroom was out of order. And my daughter pulled a hair out of her mouth after taking a bite of her sub. We love Penn Station, but we will not go back to this one.

Not a review person, but was blown away with service today and felt the need to reflect on it. Tom’s customer service was unbelievable. My wife and I are frequent visitors here, and have never seen Tom before but he was very polite, direct, and helpful. Saw a previous review saying he should be manager soon, and I’m not certain if he is this locations manager, but he is someone who should be a face for Penn Station. Very very respectful person. Tom, thank you for the wonderful experience, sandwiches, and fries!!

3 sandwiches 2 of which were cold Italians … what I got was mayo , raw bread 3 pieces of meat one slice of cheese .. clearly not the classic Italian. Rueben again raw bread and cheese bread the cheese wasn’t
melted . We will never go back . The older man was quite rude … 48 dollars and it all went in the trash.

Went to Penn Station subs because I had a coupon which was $5.99 for a regular sub. The cashier told me the total for the sandwich was $10.25. When I asked, “why is it not $5.99?” He gave me a snarky response of, “you ever hear of tax bro.” I was appalled by the response but since there was a line I continued and waited for my food. I ordered an Italian sub and it may have been the most disappointing sub I have eaten in Evansville. The entire 12 inch sub had 1 slice of pepperoni (split in four), 2 slices of salami, and 1 slice of ham that was chopped up. Disappointing sandwich. If you want a good sandwich take your business to Jason’s deli, Jersey mikes, or anywhere else.

Insane customer service. I’ve been to high end restaurants that don’t even have this type of service. Truly.

I don’t know the two guys who helped me out. But they were absolutely exceptional. The food was great, too!

I HIGHLY recommend.

Great sub place, the staff were friendly and quick to make an order. The sub tasted amazing and the ingredients fresh, the fries were also good. Prices were reasonable and wait time was fairly minimal.
