Visiting from the south and being able to try again one of the best sub shops the Midwest has to offer was truly out of this world and brought back a lot of great memories. Overall the food is a 5/5 and the atmosphere was good too but the overall service seemed a bit down and not overly excited while we were dining in. Overall a great experience.

Went to store last night to order take out. Staff was ok. Noticed no one used gloves while handling the food I finally noticed. The cook starts coughing into her arm quite a few times but still cooks right before I get ready to leave. I am sitting at the high seats watching them. The girl putting the sandwiches together I notice leaned up a little and used her mouth and teeth to try and open the little guacamole packets they have. She sees I noticed and shook my head. She walks over finds scissors and opens it finally. This is another customers order not mine. I grabbed my food and warned that customer what she had just done. I really hope they have cameras in the store on the staff and review it. I will not be going back after what I seen.

This was the First time that we have been here in a long time. We were wanting something different then going to subway all the time. The food was good, me and my son both liked it. But I thought for two medium sandwiches, two fries and two drinks, it was just too expensive, it was $23.00. Because of the price, I’m not sure that we will be back any time soon. But the food was good and the people their were really nice too. They just need to make it so two medium meals are not over twenty dollars.

Cashier wasn’t friendly and didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. Specifically ordered my sandwich with no onions and I think they added extra onions. Food isn’t cheap so I expect to get what I pay for. Nothing like the Evansville East side location where they act like you actually exist.

Completely OVER PRICED!!!! $2.69 for a medium drink and $2.69 for small fries??? But $11.99 for a 12 inch sub with a quarter pound of meat??????! The quality of the food is good but way out of line for the style of food they serve.

First time eating here. I love the good old fashion style fries that are so much better than what you get at most fast food places. The toasted club sandwich was equally delicious. The service was good.

New in town and I tried them, good the first time on a Tuesday…. But tried them again on Wednesday and they served RAW rolls. At a sandwich shop that’s the one thing that should be right ALL of the time. .

Slow, expensive, and they prioritize mobile orders over people in the store that have been waiting.

Addition: Per Penn Station’s request I sent them a message regarding the encounter I had. I will add it here because it is much more descriptive.

I went in to this location and spent almost $50 on two sandwiches, two drinks, a large fry, and some cookies. Which is already very expensive but my wife who had literally given birth that morning wanted Penn station so I wasn’t going to argue and just dealt with the fact that the food is wildly overpriced for what it is.

What actually made me mad was standing there waiting for about 20 minutes, watching my food get messed up when the woman making sandwiches put American cheese on my Philly cheese steak. Rather than immediately correcting it and making a new one, my sandwich was apparently pushed to the end of the line while I watched 7 other people all either walking in, GrubHub, or mobile orders get their food and leave without any explanation as to what had happened as I stood there and waited, needing to get back to the hospital. The older woman processing payments and making sandwiches seemed completely out of it and totally incapable of doing her job correctly without having to be handheld through everything.

No apology was given, and it wasn’t until I said something to the lady who appeared to be the manager on site that I was rudely told that my sandwich was messed up and had to be remade, not explaining why I got shoved to the back of the line.

I will not be going back to this location and will actively tell this story to anyone suggesting eating there, or probably any Penn Station for that matter as the cost alone already put me off and the ineptitude combined with rude response from the staff tells me this location and Penn Station as a whole is generally not worth the obscene amount of money that they want for a sandwich.
