Reviews
The flavor was good on both sandwiches though there was so little meat I questioned the price of the sandwiches.
The Ruben tasted like a Rueben but the slice of meat on there was hard to bite through.
The cheesesteak was the best of the two but highly lacking in meat and mushrooms.
Not sure why they are so stingy with the middle part of the sandwiches.
We had an ample amount of fries and they were made fresh.
The staff was friendly and attentive.
The store itself was under some remodeling at the time we were there so it didn’t look all that great and the door was left open on a pretty chilly day.
Overall our experience was mediocre and I can’t say that I would eat there again unless they start putting more meat on the sandwiches.
We proceed to order our food and sit down at one of the tables. After we started eating Danea comes over and says, “We packaged your food to go because we close in 35 minutes.” She then walks away, about 5 minutes later, the male worker passive aggressively states that we needed to leave, the dining room closed at 7 pm. No where does it say that the dining room closes an hour before the restaurant. Danea said to her coworker, “I told them they had to leave and they’re not listening.” We were never told to leave until the male worker in a round about way told us we needed to leave in the middle of eating.
If the dining room closes at 7 pm and the restaurant closes at 8, it’s unacceptable that we walked in prior to 8 pm, were NOT told the dining room closes an hour early, told leave, and then expected to eat our dinner in our vehicle. It felt as though the workers wanted to clean the restaurant be out as close to 8 as possible. I will NOT be returning to this location less than an hour before close.
