The food is delicious!! It’s all made to order. We order for pick up. Easy to order online. Food is always hot, fresh, and accurate. Sandwiches are full of ingredients and not just a whole lot of bread, toasted just right. The fries are awesome, and there’s a lot in just a small size. The staff here is great. The atmosphere is clean and tidy. I recommend They never disappoint!!

Ordered online to pick up. $20 for a LG cheese steak/sm fry. Customized it to take off the brown mustard n pizza sauce. Called in to complain the lady was rude, insisted on me driving back up there I explained it’s almost 8 o clock just got work, got my daughter picked up, home n changed, starving n exhausted. She didn’t care, again, insisted I bring this dry sandwich back up there which would involve me and my daughter getting dressed again loaded up n back up there. DRY is an understatement!

Tea tasted weird. Girl said, “well I made it this morning.” Proper response would have been, “I’m sorry, I will check it. Thank you for letting me know.” Another customer told me I picked the worst Penn Station and that the others were much better. I felt portions were a little small for the price, especially compared to Portillo’s. Flavor was good, service was a bit not friendly. They could use a little training on customer service. Bathrooms were just ok. Fries were excellent.

It’s a chain sub joint with varied hot and cold options. They were open at 10:30 and I’ve been on the road for hours – score!!

Had a chicken parmigiana sandwich with fries. Good sandwich, big and filled with gooey cheese and chicken. Could have used a little more sauce.

Here’s the breakdown:

Fast service from a single employee +1 star; good food +1 star; clean and bright +1 star; being open early +1 star.

They’re good but pricy. I’d go again.

Absolutely not worth the money. The picture representing a sandwich with lots of meat is how it is advertised in their website. The other picture is what I got. Where’s the meat? You can see there is a little but nothing like they advertise. On the right end of the sandwich there isn’t any!! They have the audacity to charge almost $11 for just the sandwich I got. The one positive about it was that the bread is delicious. the fries, while ok, also were not worth the price. They were $3.39. From a cleanliness/ health standpoint all 3 people preparing your food were not wearing hair nets. Their hair was free to fall on the grill, the food as it was coming out of the oven, the area where lettuce, tomato etc. were added and into the deep fryer.

I’ve missed Penn Station since moving back to Iowa. Every time I get back to Cincinnati or Indianapolis, a cheesestake and their fabulous fries are a must.

Second time in a row, awful! I used to love Penn Station and the quality is awful now. I even told the young man taking my order, about my last order, he said he would make sure it was right and it was awful. I ordered 2 small teriyaki chicken, no onions, extra mushrooms, an extra teriyaki sauce and ensure the chicken is cut up. I got mostly all bread, tough chunks of chicken, maybe 3 mushrooms and no extra sauce and I believe they put oregano salt on it. It was awful… I fed them both to my two dogs.

Sidenote, is not a good idea to cross contaminate using the same cooking utensils for raw chicken and then using it on a beef sub.

I heard great things about this place, especially their Philly cheese steak, which is what I got. I got mine with extra meat and cheese and all the toppings. I’ve had many cheese steaks, and this one did not make it to the top of the list. It was ok, the sandwich wasn’t juicy, the meat was dry, and you couldn’t even taste the peppers. $19 for this sandwich and I have to say it was a bust, and $3.70 for a “large” drink that’s basically a medium at McDonald’s. Like I said the food was ok, but the experience and price wasn’t. This for me, was a one time visit Worth 2 1/2 stars.

I placed a pickup order online. When I went to get my food, I was greeted when I came in, I was told at the pickup counter my remaining wait time and upon leaving was told to have a great day. Extremely friendly with excellent customer service. THANK YOU!
