I’ve been going to this Penn Station for years. We went in at dinner, not many people there, no one waiting. The two cooks wouldn’t even turn around and look. The girl who I guess takes orders, went about her tasks of restocking and when she was all done, finally came over. As previous person said, she kept interrupting. I know what I want and would have told her. We sat down and order didn’t take long. Guess they were precooking food, for supper crowd. I got a reg size sandwich, husband didn’t get banana peppers which he ordered. I took pictures because this happened last time and is what will prevent me from
Going back. Sandwich barely covered on one side with meat and a bit on other. This isn’t what they used to look like. Bread was not even browned a little, so doughy. We won’t be going back, as this seems to be the new normal there. If I get a sandwich like that from the Huber store I will be done all together. Not worth the 40$ we spent.

First time visiting this location, as I just recently moved to the area. I was very hungry and stopped in on my way home, after a long day at work. I am not new to PS so I knew what I wanted. As I was telling the cashier what kind of sandwich I wanted and the toppings for said sandwich, she proceeded to interrupt me by asking what kind of bread I wanted… REALLY? You couldn’t wait until AFTER I finished talking? I wasn’t even aware that there was now another bread option, but still, the sandwich wasn’t being made while I ordered so why not wait until I was done? Well, during that whole ordeal, I became flustered and forgot to tell her that I wanted cheese, so that’s on me. What WASN’T on me was the fact that when I was interrupted and said mushrooms, she “heard” mustard! WTH…that whole, regular size sandwich was ruined, and uncut! The best part of the meal was the fries , which didn’t cost $10.49!

I can accept a one off but it was a heck of a one off and there should be some accountability. Just went in to stop and get something reasonably quick before stopping maybe at my mom and dad’s and then going to work. With no one in line and maybe one to two people in the dining room it took a long time to get someone to take my order. Not a big deal. Maybe online orders and pickups too . I ordered a cheese steak and fries and went down to the register where he said he would meet me. And I waited. And I waited. And I waited. Finally some girl asked me if she could help me. I told her I placed an order. She asked my name and then asked what she could get me. No I PLACED an order and no one came down here. Oh. She says $16.03 and walks away. Didn’t ask if I wanted a drink. Didn’t say if that included a drink. I waited and waited and waited. The order on the card reader timed out so I turned around and left. But not before someone asked if I had a pickup order. I don’t think I have ever experienced not a single employee having one clue as to what was going on or making sure they successfully completed a transaction with the one customer in line. They were probably very confused about what to do with that sandwich and those fries.

Rude service and probably one of the dirtiest restaurants you can go into. We had to clean our own table to have a place to sit and eat. The guy taking the order seemed like he didn’t want to be there and annoyed about everything. I think his name is Grayden C., at least that’s the name on the receipt. Just a total wreck of a restaurant. Listening to them call out names as orders were complete was painful to hear, not one thank you or you’re welcome.
Food was okay at best, fries didn’t seem real hot.
This place is a total clown show.

I’ve been coming here for over a decade and I’ve always hit the 5 star button but lately it’s been earned more than ever! Store manager Alicen has done a phenomenal job! Every time I come in for a sandwich she’s always working, always smiling! She gets the best from her team and has their respect and it shows in the service they provide every single time!

Five-Star Experience at Penn Station – Troy, Ohio
We recently visited the Penn Station East Coast Subs location in Troy, Ohio, and we couldn’t have been more impressed. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and prompt, friendly service. It’s clear this location takes pride in both their food and customer experience.
We ordered the classic cheesesteak, fresh-cut fries, and an ice-cold Mountain Dew, and every item exceeded expectations.
The cheesesteak was phenomenal—perfectly grilled steak, smothered in melted provolone, and nestled in fresh, warm bread that was lightly toasted to perfection. The balance of flavors was spot-on, and the portion size was generous. Every bite was hot, juicy, and incredibly satisfying.
The fries were equally impressive. Hand-cut and made fresh to order, they were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and lightly salted—exactly how fries should be. You can tell they take the time to do them right, which makes all the difference.
As for the Mountain Dew, it was the cherry on top. Served ice-cold with the perfect carbonation, it paired great with the meal and rounded out the experience.
What really stood out was the exceptional customer service. The team behind the counter was friendly, efficient, and genuinely seemed to care about making our visit a good one. They checked in on us, kept the dining area clean, and handled a steady lunch rush with professionalism and speed.
We’ll definitely be returning soon. If you’re in the Troy area and craving a great cheesesteak with unbeatable service, Penn Station is the place to go.

Worst service I think I’ve ever had.. We ordered a Philly Cheese Steak Sub and fries.. Our fries were burnt and they put mustard on our Philly and when we brought it to their attention. They said that’s what we odered and refused to make it right. We left hungry, after they threw our food in the trash. Allison the manager made a huge scene.
NEVER AGAIN…….

Been here a few times, great subs, great fries, and a damn good chocolate chip cookie. Consistent quality. However, the guy who works there with the pony tail….is he ok? He has zero personality, is not welcoming at all and doesn’t return an answer when asked the standard “hey, how are you doing today?” He really puts a damper on eating here.

The woman taking orders is incredibly rude. Tables are all filthy. The manager was losing his mind because they are too busy. Sandwiches were made wrong. Avoid this disaster. Go to Jersey Mikes!

Sunday 1-18 about 2 pm. Place was dirty food all over the frier and counters behind counter. Guy taking my order ask what do you want no hi no smile just what do you want and started firing questions about bread hot or cold ect.
He was the only one waiting on people and making the sandwiches. 3 other people laughing and what not behind wall.
The sad part was the place needed cleaning and nobody cared.
