Red Bank location easier and quicker to get to than I thought. Order as you enter and pay at the back of the store. Sandwiches come in 6, 9, or 12 inch sizes. If splitting, it is cheaper to get two 6 inch than one foot long sandwich. The grilled Italian was delicious and the touch of mayo makes all the difference. The fries are also top notch eaten hot. You know fries are good when you don’t need ketchup. The staff were helpful and actually appeared to like their job! I wore my Bronx shirt to see if it would get any play and it did so that makes this Penn Station East Coast Subs location legit!

I went last week, in the tail end of my work week to get me and my daughters dinner. Ended up leaving not feeling great after consuming my food on the way home. It was hot. However the thin white man with the grey hat was so rude he made me uncomfortable. I assume it’s the manager. Everyone else seemed pretty friendly other than him and this bigger white girl. They both mean mugged me the entire time. Not sure what I did to them. I’ll just go to a different East Coast subs if I ever eat from this franchise again. Last time, I went here the employees seemed bubbly. Wow.. had that energy seem to die off.

I really like Penn station when it’s made correctly. First time at this location. I got my usual teriyaki chicken. Must have had a new cook. I was surprised there was extra chicken on it but there was very little teriyaki. I couldn’t even taste the teriyaki. I tried adding more to it but that did not help. I didn’t ask them to remake it because they were busy, I didn’t have time to wait and I wanted to get out of there because it had to be around 65 degrees. The french firer wasn’t working but I did appreciate them telling me before I ordered.

Food was hot and fresh. The bread was especially good for my sub.The employees made it a point to call me by name , greeting me upon arrival and even making it a point to wish me a good day as I was leaving. I will definitely be back.

Don’t go to this Penn Station!!!! I’ve eaten it probably every Penn station in Cincinnati and it’s one of my favorite restaurants but this one is horrible. They put no meat on your sandwich. It was like eating steak flavored bread today. I sat there and watched the guy making the sandwiches. He didn’t weigh any of the meat and every sandwich he made looked like there was hardly any meat on it! SCAM. All I want is what I paid for! I don’t think that’s asking too much!

I have been here several times. Thought that service and employees attitudes would improve. But never have. Very rude. I will not be going back. Plenty of places to spend my money without the rudeness.

The employees are hard working and super friendly. I had such an enjoyable lunch because of how respectful the entire crew was. My first time eating at a Penn Station. Food was made fresh and was delicious

Just went in today, the owner took my order. Definitely isn’t very good at customer service. I’ll say somewhat rude so as not to sound dramatic. Should probably leave that to the professionals.

Also couldn’t help but noticing that his staff looked a little intimidated by him. Heads hanging pretty low, pretty quiet. Big problem in my book, although I’m sure he’s not there every day so still gave three stars.

I usually don’t write reviews but my experience was too delightful not to share. We were greeted immediately by Abby who was kind, patient and personable! She made a great connection and provided excellent service and care. Then as we were paying for and receiving our order, Kathy kindly took care of us and recommended the cookie tray for my family, which was quite convenient for us! We sat down and she frequently checked on us asking how we were. She was so so kind and personable with us as well, asking my younger sisters about school and if they’re excited for break. It was like we had been friends for years! Never had such incredible service from someone before! She took our trays and always made sure we had everything we needed during our dine in. Not to mention the food was hot and fresh! When we left Kathy and Abby said goodbye and hoped us a good day! Their service was incredible and really made my day.
