Too cold to go to our regular restaurant so I decided on carry out. Last time I ate here it was SO noisy that it was impossible to have a conversation. I’ll never eat in here again.
Carry out took over a half hour at 11:15 am on a weekday.
The food was okay but this place pales to the location near the old Forest Fair Mall in Forest Park.

I ate at penn station for the first time a few days ago. It was one of the worst subs I’ve ever had. The bread is strait up raw dough. The meat for the cheesesteak is dry, salty and sparse. They forgot my onions on the sub but I couldn’t get through my third bite anyway so it didn’t matter. I got two subs and a fry. It cost me a little over $30.00 and I threw it all away. I feel bad for the people who work there b/c it’s a chain and I know they are forced to use the ingredients that are sent to them but I could never eat at another Penn station in my life. Oddly there was steady traffic at this place which just goes to show how bad the food is in the greater Cincinnati area and how numb to low quality ingredients local people have become, because of it.

The actual manager is ripping us off !! he was making the sandwhiches and barely putting any meat on the sandwhiches I litterally paid for xtra steak and got less meat than what comes on the regular steak sandwhich …he knows what he is doing! The sandwich was mostly bun. DRY NASTY SUB I THREW IT OUT WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!

My husband came in to get me some food. He said no cheese- I have a dairy sensitivity. The food took a long time. He got home and it is covered in melted cheese. I’m unable to eat it and I can’t even call the store to let them know. The phone just rings a busy tone. We won’t make it back in time tonight for them to replace it either because they’ll be closed. I’m pregnant and SO disappointed. It’s the only thing that sounded good today.

A less than stellar performance. I was handed sandwiches but had to ask for the fries I ordered. When I got home with the order I can see why they would want to forget the fries. They were bottom of the barrel old. The Dagwood barely had mayo. I guess there must be a national shortage. Stay safe with the more consistent Jimmy John’s or the superior Jersey Mike’s.

They do a great job at this Penn Station in Oakley. Better than the one on Red Bank! Nice staff. Just avoid those people at the pet food store in the same strip mall, those guys are not friendly or kind. Penn Station People rule!

Every time I am home to Cincinnati, this is one of the first places I go. Wish they were in Florida. I think this place is better than a majority of the sub shops.

How is it that these workers are working around food, with no hair nets on there head. The lady with purple hair had her own hair in her mouth while prepping people food. Everyone has long hair except for cashier. This is utterly crazy.
