There were 6 people visible behind the counter, and all were at stations doing something except one young lady, and she was literally doing NOTHING, except walking back and forth. She came right up to order area, looked at me and turned and walked back towards the rear. She repeatedl that three times. In between that time, the gentleman who was preparing the chicken and assisting the lady who was preparing the steak orders, was caught up, so he put a few pieces of chicken on a napkin of sorts, walked toward the back of the restaurant and proceeded to eat it. He then returned to his station along side the lady who was cooking on the grill. By now I was growing impatient, so I asked if I had to phone my order in ? The lady rudely said that they were busy and that someone would be with me in a few minutes. So I waited until the man finally came over and ask to take my order. I ask for a steak sandwich, extra cheese, mushrooms and onions, and a large French fry. I continued on to pay at the register, gave my name, sat down and waited for, what I believe was too long of a time. I finally got my order, got in my car, drove the 1 1/2 miles home, and as I picked up the bag as I got out my car, there was this big spot where the bag had been. I couldn’t believe my eyes ! Those fries had turned over in the bag and they were so greasy that they had soaked through the side of the bag, and they had re-dropped, they were burnt and they were as cold as could be. And to end it all, I paid $1.99 for extra cheese and I did not get ANY cheese. So, that is why I didn’t give you 5 stars, and why I will never come back to your establishment ever again. That was to be my dinner and my lunch for the next day. Being a senior citizen, I can only splurge like that maybe once a month, so I will certainly choose more wisely next time. Maybe, it all happened this way because I am a senior citizen !

This place is DIRTY!! I watched the lady that puts the toppings on the sandwiches go from taking money from customers and putting it into the register right to putting her hands in the lettuce to put on sandwiches and wrapping them without washing her hands or a pair of gloves, honestly I couldn’t even eat my sandwich. I will never come back to this Penn station and I’d recommend you don’t visit here either

Placed an online order and while waiting for it, I saw all three staff walk back and to take a break before walking back to the grill to start my order and talk extremely rude about how I shouldn’t have placed an online order? Worse of it was, it was the General Manager, she was the worst, and the other rude employee was named Terry.

This place has gone downhill. No attention to detail, slow service, poor service, skimpy on portion and size, unfriendly staff. Tried to call in an order at 7pm and the phone was picked up, no one spoke, just laid the phone off to the side. I heard everything going on in the store, waited a few minutes then hung up. Tried to call back for another 15 minutes and got a recording that voice mail not set up. I guess they didn’t want to take anymore orders and just left the phone off the hook. Poor business strategy if you want to make money. Sad because it used to be a great place with great staff and food.

Ordered my food on the app, and it was prepared perfectly and was ready when it was supposed to be ready. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I used to work at Penn station and if my store was ran like this one I would have got yelled at. Nobody says hi or greets you when walking in , the manager lady looks miserable all the time. She stared right at me as I came in and said nothing. Infact they all looked at me without greeting which is typical. Not very welcoming. Then I wait a few minutes to place my order, nobody bothers to say “we will be with you in one second” or anything. I would have gotten yelled at for all this stuff when I was working there. They are also very slow to get food made. No hurry about them , no pep in their step. They move like slugs without a pulse. Lastly, they drop fries as soon as an order comes in, but then they just sit there and get cold while they take 20 minutes to make one sandwich. We were taught to redrop fries that sat for a second. I’ve never had truly fresh fried from this place, they are always barely warm by the time they get to me. No sense of timing. I’m sorry to say this but these are things that are very easily fixed. Say hi or greet the customer, move a bit faster, and and time the fries properly or redrop them. That’s really it. Not hard guys and this should be common sense.

Penn Station East Coast Subs in Mulberry Square Shopping Center completely won me over this trip. I will admit I have been trying the local competition here lately which wasn’t bad in their own rights, however there is just something about the flavor of these subs that only P.S. can bring to the palate! Don’t forget to grab an order of fries and that freshly squeezed lemonade while here either. All of which are unique to P.S., added with the staff and service you’re going to receive makes the choice pretty obvious that these guys take the Trophy for first place!

Normally I like the food here but today was a bad day. Taste it awful. The meat was the wrong color. Disappointing
