Tried the monthly special which was a pizza style and it was about a 3 out of 10 being great and had very little sauce if any, lacking flavors unlike the Italian and other sandwiches.
I went close to closing so maybe thats why there was also lack luster employees at the register and the fries were very fresh but nowhere near the usual amount filled in the cup and in the bag.

So we had to wait at PennStation to get our fries fresh and they upgraded our medium fries to 2 larges free of charge and one of the employees ended up giving us a small package of chocolate chip cookies for my son. He asked if it was okay and I was like “Aw yeah man that’s awesome, thank you!”

That place is off the hook … The guys there always smell bad when I go in, I have found hair in my food many times and that is absolutely nasty especially looking at the guys there half of them look like they don’t shower. The guy with the big beard always has a bad attitude and always slamming things around. He walks around coughing and don’t even wash his hands. I no longer go to this restaurant it’s nasty and so are the people working there. They need a whole new crew in there.

I ordered a doordash order from them and called and asked if they could add american cheese to my sandwich because it wouldn’t allow me to do it in the app. The guy who answered was VERY RUDE and when he answered before i could say anything he said “HOLD” and slammed the phone down then when he picked it back up he said “what can i do” in a rude tone. and the immediately told me that would be an up charge. i said okay that’s fine but even in the app it doesn’t up charge you for adding cheese it just wouldn’t allow me to do it or i would’ve to begin with. he said back rudely “well that’s an up charge sorry” i said again okay that’s fine is it any way you can charge my card then for that. he said “no it’s no way sorry”. Absolutely HORRIBLE SERVICE and my sandwich was made a complete mess and all it was was a BLT. very disappointing will not be going back at all. Very rude person working there

I was disappointed by this visit. I love the food but the restaurant was not clean and the line cook was on his phone and the place was dirty. The woman that helped me was friendly as usual but I won’t be back any time soon.

This is a great place to get a great sub, the best in Hamilton I would have to say for a sub. Is here today got one for me and my best friend and I know that my daughter every chance she gets she comes here she has friends at work here. Great fries to go with the sub and they’re friendly as can be behind the counter and is quick as you can imagine.

Update : the first medium fry being smaller than a small was a one off experience ; I love penn station and I’ve had this location 2x since then and they definitely are as good as my favorite location in Middletown. I know it’s a chain but I swear some Penn stations are better than others and this is a good one !

I ate there yesterday around 3:30 pm and the staff was amazing! The guy working the grill and both cashiers were very polite and provided excellent customer service. I don’t eat there often due to being a vegatarian but will definitely start going more often with the service being so great!

Everything was phenomenal! Food was hot and fresh and the location close to the spooky nook makes it easy to leave and grab fresh delicious food in between games without breaking the bank. 1rst time being will definitely not be the last.
