6pm this evening (Friday Jan 3rd). Nobody in the restaurant but two workers. Stood at the counter for 5 minutes with NO greeting. No acknowledgement. We walked out and will never come back here. I know service is declining everywhere. But how about a basic “hello we will be right with you”. But nothing… STAY AWAY. Jersey Mikes is right down the street with friendly folks.

Service was friendly and fast. However, as mentioned by other reviewers, I too saw the employee with the long bangs over his face, with no hair net or hat to hold it back. I was a little worried about hair ending up on my food.
Portions were also skimpy today. I asked for a lemonade with no ice. Instead of getting a full cup, I got a cup that was 3/4 full! See attached photo, I had not drank from the cup, this is exactly how they gave it to me. It was a carryout order, so when I got the food, I asked the employee to please top it off. He said yes, but then gave it back to me and it was still missing about an inch from the top to be full.
I also asked for medium fries. I usually love their fries, but this time we got a whole bunch of little 1 inch fries with only a few normal size fries. Although we were given the medium cup for fries, portion seemed more like a small. I felt like they gave us leftovers instead of making a fresh batch.
My husband and I used to go here often and had always received excellent service and food until about a year or so ago. Not sure if there was a change in management or just employees, but lately we haven’t been very satisfied with Penn Station. Now we visit once every few months, in the hopes that it will get better, but I guess they’re not there yet.

Horrible customer service. You can tell the moment you walk in it’s nothing but chaos behind the counter starting with the lady who took my order.
When someone is telling you what they want, DON’T INTERRUPT THEM.LISTEN…
I had to repeat my order back to her because she kept asking me odd questions.
Since when does the cheesesteak come with anything but sautéed onions? It literally took her almost one minute to type in my order.
On top of that, it took them almost all of my 30 (22 minutes) minute lunch break to get me my sandwich.
After witnessing 2 people who came in after I did get their food, I approached the counter and ask them the status of my order.
Then they have the nerve to get smart with me. It turns out my food was sitting there luke warm.
I didn’t bother to go back in because I only get so much time for lunch.
AVOID THIS LOCATION!!

Ordered a take out last night. I was thrilled when everything was made accurately and it was delicious. My husband said probably best sandwiches we have had in a while and definitely worth what we paid. I honestly overlook this location a lot and now I definitely won’t be. I suggest if you are looking for a quick yummy dinner or lunch well this might me the place. I like the five credit when credit is due. We really enjoyed our meal last night. Thanks!

They added ghost peppers to my order. After I saw that on the receipt I informed them I did not ask for ghost peppers. They just acted like it was no big deal and said they didn’t even have ghost peppers. Then I realized I was charged an extra $2 for the ghost peppers. They refunded my $2 but I had a feeling they have done this before. Watch your receipt at this place.
