Literally the best cheesesteak. Perfect amount of cheese, meat, veggies, and bread. Fresh cut fries. Squeezed lemonade – cannot be beat. On top of that the staff here is super kind and expeditious with their work. Highly recommend.

I have visited this establishment before, and I had a great experience then, and I’m having a good one now as well.
I love that they offer a “combo of the month,” which features a monthly subscription that comes with fries and a drink.
This month, the featured sub is the Philly cheese steak with banana peppers. I am not a fan of banana peppers, so I asked them to remove this item for me. It did come with marinara sauce, which was a new twist, but it was good, so I appreciated it. I also love their hand-cut, cooked-to-order fries. Fries are always delicious, but even more so when they are hand-cut.
That’s why, in the photo of my food, you see malt vinegar. I love pairing malt vinegar with hand-cut fries.
As you can see in another photo, they also have some outside eating that will be lovely in the coming months, as it warms up for summer here in North Carolina.
This place is always a great experience and delicious food, and I highly recommend trying the sub of the month! It’s always a banger!

Update: came back for round 2 March 5 around 7:30 pm. Everyone was so friendly. I’ve never seen a place with such friendly people and of course the food. The best subs I’ve ever had.
Came all the way up from Georgia knowing I wanted their subs. They don’t disappoint. Friendly service and good food. And they make it to order. And the meat babyyy! The way they make it, has these little crunchy bits. Highly recommend

We went to Penn Station for the second time, but it was our first time at this location. We expected to wait for about 30 minutes, which is the average wait from our previous visit. However, we were disappointed with the food quality when we received our order. I ordered the Steak Sub wrap, which turned out to be a cold cut, and the fries, my wife ordered the Parmesan Wrap, but the fries were cold and stale. Maybe the dine-in customers get fresher fries and take-out customers get old fries, which seemed unfair. My wife asked for a replacement of our fries, and the staff were very courteous and helpful. And gave us new fries, which were just warm. However, we still did not enjoy the sandwich, and we also noticed that the portions were smaller than what we had in Chapel Hill Penn Station and higher. We appreciated the customer service, but we were not satisfied with the food at this location.

Please just do the inevitable and shut down.
$20 for a cheese steak & fries? Ok – it has to make the grade. Nope – bread shows signs of mold and the $5 regular-size fries are smaller portion than a large McDonald’s. GRADE: D-
This restaurant has been struggling for a while, and although I’ve tried to frequent my local businesses, I can only do so much.
Last time for me – good luck Penn Station.

The food here can be hit or miss, but tends to lean more to the good most days. Service is slower than your traditional fast food but I think the quality is better. I love that they support local Down Syndrome charities and so I will be a repeat customer, if not just for that alone!

I stopped here because I was starving. From the outside doesn’t look like anything special and neither on the inside. I didn’t expected much until the food arrived.
OMG! That sub was the best one I’ve ever tried and at a great price too.
The girls behind the counter are very nice and the food is great, the bread is freshly baked there.
Just thinking about it now waters my mouth.
100% I’ll visit again when I travel over there again.

We came to this location, we were told it would be 10 minutes before we could order. We noticed a decent amount of people that we realized had all ordered and were just waiting for their food. We eventually ordered after about 15 minutes. Once we got our food we noticed the portions were lacking and both our sandwiches and fries were lukewarm. It was my first and last time eating at this location

Ate here for the first time today. is surprisingly expensive first of all. a sandwich and a small fry is $15. The sandwich is pretty decent, but the fries feel like a rip off. $3.50 for a tiny cup of fries, probably equivalent to a small McDonald’s fry. The fries are good I guess, probably about as good as five guys fries, but they are a complete rip off. at five guys you can spend the same price and get half a bag full of fries, at Penn station it’s like a child’s portion of fries for $3.50. probably won’t return here I don’t think it’s really worth what you pay. once you get into the $15 range you might as well just go to a proper restaurant in order a entree for takeout. I mean I didn’t even order a drink if you ordered a drink got a medium fry and a regular size sub you’re spending nearly $20, that’s way too much for a mid-tier deli
