I actually have never had before but while my sister was out of town I was checking on my 80yr old mom and making sure she had dinner.
I don’t want her messing with a stove at all.
I asked what she wanted, I named fast food to Olive Garden. She said “well I would go to this sandwich place over by Pep Boys.
Pep Boys? You mean across town by your old house? Are they even still there mom ? What’s the name of the place? Oh um…..Penn something, oh you mean Penn Station, yeah that’s it.
So I drive from West Mifflin to Shadyside and then to Mt. Oliver.
I later asked her how her sandwich was and she said it was good as usual. I just wanted to make sure everything was how she remembered.
But I was eyeing those fresh cut fries and I saw some things I would try myself.

The worst penn station my family and I have been to . The subs were made skimpy and seemed like all lettuce! We went to Pittsburgh for a concert and wanted penn station since we always enjoyed the ones in Cuyahoga country area in Ohio. Terrible for a Penn Station

ordered my food at noon did not get it until 1:30. ordered for delivery on the website then they told me I had to come pick it up. as I left my job to come pick it up I got a text saying that it was out for delivery went back and then the DoorDash guy went to arbys to pick up somebody else’s food, let my food that has already been sitting for an hour get colder than it already is in the car. If you’re gonna offer online orders and delivery, you need to coordinate better.

The Penn station in Washington Pennsylvania is horrible because they are never open. They constantly use a sign on the door that says the fryer for french fries is broken so they’re closed. This happens frequently. Also, the service is terrible I’m hoping this gets to management and they can do something about it

It’s been a long week a little over staying at children’s. Today I decided to try something new. First the cleanliness of the store, the huge menu, the easy set up it was good from the door. The people working today in the evening were all super nice and helpful. I will be back. Much needed, everything 10 stars!

Scheduled my order for 5:30 and they didnt start it until after 5:30. Almost didnt give me 2 of my sandwiches and lemonade. Messed up one of sandwiches completely. Won’t be going back.

Came for take out looking to try something semi low calorie and different and was pleasantly surprised. Great tasting and filling! Highly recommend what I got which was a teriyaki sub.

The building was Freezing . The cheesebread has some much cheese on it that wasn’t melted. The fries had a hair so didnt eat any.

I was first introduced to Penn Station while in North Carolina. I’m not a red meat eater, due to my heart but that didn’t stop me from ordering their turkey sub and french fries. However, in my opinion, as good as the turkey and provolone was, the real star was the bread it was served on!
I’m not sure if they bake it in store or or get the dough ready to bake, but that is the company forte, consistency! It was just as delicious as it was in NC!
I know fast food sub stores may not be your thing, but for those that enjoy it, try Penn Station.
