Tired of salads? Head over to Palo Alto’s good old fashioned neighborhood diner. Don’t miss out on their specialty homemade pies piled high with fruit along with a flaky crust, all made with simple baking ingredients. Service is very friendly and efficient.

Our server was super friendly and very attentive. He treated my family well and we were grateful for it. The food was ok, but not great. The inside of the restaurant is retro and has a ton of potential, unfortunately it misses the mark when it comes to cleanliness. The blinds are so dusty and dirty it’s embarrassing.

The tuna melt was one the best I ever had, and the Texaas chili was great too. The server was a nice person and a very passionate Browns’ fan. Hope his team goes to the super bowl this year, and I will definitely come back here.

They have the best milkshakes! Super thick, real ice cream, and they have a great selection of flavors! I get chocolate-chocolate (chocolate ice cream with chocolate syrup), and my daughter usually gets a peppermint fudge ripple milkshake. They also have great American diner food. I really like their Texas beef and black bean chili. Very tasty and not very spicy, topped with cheddar cheese and sour cream. Yum! We also like the French toast, club sandwiches, and the atomic burgers. And now they have a nice patio/deck area outside in the street because of the pandemic.

Classic place for evening breakfasts, delicious burgers, milk shakes, pies, and lots of other great food. Kind of a perfect specimen of its kind.
