Wow — Penellie’s Café totally blew us away! We both got the chicken cutlet sandwich, and it was seriously amazing. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and super juicy inside — you could tell it was freshly made. What made it even better were the marinated tomatoes and balsamic glaze on top — not something you see on every chicken sandwich, but it worked so well! The mozzarella was melted perfectly over the chicken, and the arugula added the perfect fresh taste.
The bread deserves its own shoutout — soft, fresh, and just the right amount of crisp on the outside. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the sandwich held together perfectly without falling apart (which is a big win in my book).
And we can’t forget the staff — they were so nice, friendly, and really made us feel welcome. You can tell they care about their food and their customers.
If you’re looking for a spot with great vibes, fresh food, and some of the best sandwiches around, Penellie’s Café is it. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Finding a restaurant in Hobe Sound that delivers on a Sunday is no easy task, so discovering Penellies Café felt like a total win. Since they are a newer spot, I wasn’t sure what to expect for our small get-together, but they absolutely exceeded my expectations.
I ordered several items from the catering menu and the taste and quality was exceptional. The crowd favorites were definitely the Cobb Salad, the Housemade Chips, and the Burrata Sandwiches, but everything was great. It’s rare to find this level of care and freshness in a delivery order. Highly recommend if you want to impress your guests!

My co-worker Heidi and I recommend Penellie’s Cafe to everyone. This has become our favorite sandwich spot around. I’ve tried 4 different sandwiches and whichever one I’m eating at the time is my favorite. Their house-made potato chips are crispy and never soggy. The first time I went in I asked about different items on the menu and the chef described them and even explained how he prepares the cutlets himself every morning. They use fresh locally sourced ingredients making it well worth your time and money. I finally tried the pork belly sandwich (see photos) and was NOT disappointed. Of course it was my favorite

I recently tried the carnivore flat bread at this new restaurant in the area, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the quality of the ingredients was evident. It’s great to have such a fantastic dining option so close to home. I’m excited to see what else is on the menu and will definitely be returning soon! Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the neighborhood.

Great local cafe with an excellent menu! The salads are fresh and flavorful, the sandwiches are delicious, and the flatbreads are a must-try. They also have a really nice selection of wine, which makes it a perfect spot for lunch or a relaxed evening bite. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a sandwich shop that actually made a good sandwich. We’ll i decided to try Penellies cafe . I was not disappointed. I have to say , after trying g alot of mediocre to bad sandwiches in the Jupiter,tequesta and stuart area, Penellies knocks it out of the park. The chicken cutlet I ordered was fantastic. The chicken cutlet was cooked just right,the right amount of tomatoes , greens and pesto and balsamic glaze on the bread. The bread was great also.The part I find fascinating is that they charge fifteen dollars for the sandwich. The sandwich is freshly made with quality ingredients. Meanwhile the other places which i wont name, charges the same or more for a crappy sandwich. The sandwich at Penellies is Well worth the price for the product! Great job Penellies !! The staff was nice too.

Just passing through and was craving a sandwich. This did not disappoint. All of it was delicious! The ladies are friendly and courteous. The food was made fresh and hot. We chose the pork belly sandwich, and the chicken cutlet sandwich. Both were amazingly good! The chicken cutlet sandwich was a good size. We had the homemade chips, and corn chowder, both was excellent. Thank you!

Hands down, best lunch spot in Hobe Sound. The chicken cutlet sandwiches and their flatbreads are tops! Everything I’ve had from here so far is clearly made with high quality ingredients by people who obviously take pride in what they do. Everybody who works there has a smile on their face, which just makes the whole experience that much better. Grateful to have this place nearby! They’re doin it right.

Had a wonderful experience at the new Penellies restaurant right next to the Palm & Ivy. Alyssa at the front greeted us with a smile and went over some of her favorites on the menu. We landed on the turkey and asiago and the chicken cutlet sandwich. Both were great but the chicken cutlet sandwich was a home run . Was happy to see both sandwiches were fresh ingredients and were made to order. Priced fairly for quality and amount of food. All in all just a great experience from start to end
