Onion baiji tasted unusual. Not had one like it before. Spicy flowery.
Then the mains were just sauce with a few bits of chicken. To the eyes it wasn’t appealing. Photo says it all. Bowls of sauce. The flavour was there, but a bowl of sauce in a cereal bowl wasn’t what I was hoping for. If it was better presented then maybe an extra star. Taste begins with the eyes.
Server was friendly.
Was expensive for what it was.
100% wouldn’t go again.

Disappointing ordered a mixed grill for 20 quid portion size is shocking I don’t recommend
A few pieces of meat and a small salad
We have ordered similar things from different places and this has got to be the stingiest portion I’ve seen in my life
After eating the food both my husband and I are now feeling sick just aswell the portion was small or it would be worse

We go lt a takeaway through uber eats, we saw the reviews were half decent so thought we would give it a go. The tikka masala was not like anything I had ever had from an Indian before, tasted nothing like what we have had in many other restaurants and really wasn’t to my taste. Meat was a bit thin on the ground, mainly sauce.
Enjoyed the onion Bhaji, nice and crisp and well done. I was however disgusted at the portion size of tandoori king prawns, 4 king prawns as a main course is a joke and it cost £13.95… they tasted canny but 14 quid for four prawns is absolutely insane and enough to put me off every returning here. Keema naan looked like it was shown a picture of meat before hitting the tandoor, it was almost nonexistent, garlic naan wasn’t well flavoured either.
Will definitely stick to the spice lounge, capital or even Coxhoe corner as they all run rings around this place…. Waste of £47

Absolutely beautiful best takeaway ever & we have eaten quite a few our delivery driver JOSHUA was really lovely and bang on time thankyou rolled up on his motor bike lovely pleasant lad we will definitely be ordering again everything was so fresh & just the right amount of spices FABULOUS XX

Food is definitely better than what it was. Since the new chef has taken over there has been a change in taste to a more Indian flavour than the usual Bangladeshi taste in the other so called Indian restaurants. Does not look flashy. It’s a pub and a B&B based restaurant.

We have done Indian takeouts from Penash multiple times- it has always been spot on. We have tried several dishes from here- chicken lollipop, manchurian chicken, paneer tikka masala, fried rice, lamb rara, naans, etc. Everything was delicious! My husband’s favorite is the lamb rara, and mine is chicken manchurian. Planning to try many other dishes very soon.
The owner is also a really friendly gentleman.

This place is a hidden gem the selection of drinks is amazing so much choice and the food was dynamite the owner and bar staff are friendly polite and professional we will definately return thankyou.
