Women, please use caution if coming here alone. I’ve come here twice alone in the last month. Both times I’ve been berated by older guys that are so persistent with talking to you and buying you drinks. Not in a friendly way but it starts to feel really creepy. I would say no and act bothered or uninterested but it wouldn’t stop them.
First instance was about two weeks ago, I ended up leaving right away because a guy wouldn’t leave me alone, then he followed me to the other bar I tried to escape to. I was smart enough to ask for this guys phone number in case something happens to me and people have a way to trace him. When I googled his number his name pops up along with court documents for felony harassment charges he was found guilty of….
Lucky the other bar does a better job of picking up on the safety and vibes of their customers and kicked him out. Then they sent a regular to walk me home safely.
The staff at Penalties are super sweet and hardworking just wish they were more intuitive and mindful of this. I don’t think I’ll come back to this place just because of this.

Im not sure why this place isnt 5 stars great atmosphere. Decent service. Food was fantastic and reasonably priced. If they opened one closer to beaverton/west portland ill never go to buffalo wild wings again.

Penalties is across from our hotel. The food is very good, we have tried the pizza, sandwiches, quesadillas, and more. Great place to watch the game or shoot pool.

It was delicious, enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and would definitely recommend a visit here… Coffee was good too, not a drinker but for a bar to have such great coffee ☕… Win Win

I met a friend for a drink. The drink was delicious! Came back for Happy Hour Snacks the mushrooms soup is great and the sweet and sour skewers were awesome!

Oh My Gosh, I love this bar. Crews are so kind, friendly and welcoming. My husband and I are huge Ducks fan. We watched a football game, so many Ducks fans are watching it together and having fun. We ordered Nachos and Garlic Parmesan wings. Delicious and tasty.

Was specifically looking for St. Patrick’s food since I didn’t get a chance to eat Corned beef on the holiday, lo and behold! These guys had it, place was packed and I see why. Corned Beef Sliders & Tacos were SO GOOD!, (keep in mind it’s probably seasonal and they’ll probably have it again next year)
