What an enjoyable experience! We came in as out of towners who needed wifi and a little caffeine and left with full hearts. While yes, the chai tea latte was to die for (the chai is made in-house), what really sold it for me was the hospitality and the authentic conversation with lovely humans. Yodit and Yonas have made a coffee run feel like a cozy visit with friends. The place was buzzing with 6 strangers talking organically today and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Will definitely be returning in the warmer months!

I’m in love with this place! My sister picked it as our brunch destination and what we found was a relaxing, peaceful oasis. The views are beautiful, the food was amazing and the owner is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. We spent hours hanging out. We cannot wait to return!

I recently visited Pemberton Café in Salisbury, and it instantly became one of my favorite spots in town. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and inviting, perfect for studying, catching up on reading, or just unwinding. It’s quiet without feeling too quiet, and there’s a calmness in the space that makes you want to stay a while.
The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which added such a personal touch to the experience. You can tell they genuinely care about creating a comfortable place for the community.
I had a cup of their coffee (so good!) and a light brunch that hit the spot, fresh, flavorful, and made with love. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by. Pemberton Café has the charm of a neighborhood favorite with the quality and warmth that keeps you coming back.

It’s a lovely little locally owned cafe! The staff and owner are all friendly and pretty much everything I’ve eaten from there is scrumptious!
My favorite is the egg and potato hash, and my beau said they beat out the other locally owned shops we’ve been to on the shore. If you get a cinnamon roll, I highly reccomend you warm it up before eating(or have them warm it up if you’re dining in), it really helps it sing!
The Flatbread pizzas are very tasty, too!
My only “warning” is that the food takes a bit to be made, but as everything but baked goods is made to order (depending on where you sit you may be able see them preparing it) so if you’re in a big hurry it might not be ideal. It’s perfect for when you want to relax and savor your time with friends.

Absolutely delightful. They were so sweet and kind. Gave Excellent recommendations, you can’t go wrong with anything you get from here. I feel like it’d be So cosy in the colder months inside too. And they were very attentive, asked if there were any recommendations we had to improve and we really had no notes. It’s wonderful. We got coffee and food and they were both flavorful.
The view, impeccable.
The food, delightful.
The environment, welcoming.

Food was delicious with great portion sizes, especially for the money. Some of the best espresso i’ve ever had. Very relaxing environment with good music and a fireplace. The owner was also very friendly and welcoming and definitely takes pride in her work. Will definitely be returning soon.

We didn’t intend on stopping here, but am so glad we did. I enjoyed the quiche and a mango tea. The woman who was there (I assume the owner) was very kind and made sure everything was just right. It was a bit chilly today, so just walked on the deck overlooking the bank of the river. Lovely spot ❤️

Thrilled to be welcoming back the Pemberton Coffeehouse cafe to our city with a small town heart! I’d just finished running an errand when I recalled that I’d seen tale of the Pemberton’s return online, and having only had lovely experiences, I stopped by. As I was browsing the menu, the owner told me, with confidence, that they had the best breakfast sandwiches in Salisbury. Well, not one to let a claim of that magnitude go unchallenged, I ordered an egg and cheese sandwich an a hot chai tea.
Friends, I am pleased to report the claim was not made in hubris. A perfectly toasted sesame bun, gooey cheese with a lot of flavor, and a lovely egg over medium made this an absolutely delightful way to start the day. The chai was piping hot, milky, and flavorful.
Now, something I always remembered about Pemberton is their legendary tiramisu. Regrettably, that is not yet back in stock, but I’ve been assured it will be soon.
All in all, this is a lovely breakfast spot that I’m quite glad to see rise from the ashes once again! Bonne chance, Pemberton Coffeehouse! Till we meet again!
