Came here and it was a nice quaint place. Fresh fish market and great restaurant too. Walk up and order was a breeze. The lady taking orders was friendly and asked questions to ensure your order is correct. The fish and chips basket with fries was very good. Not greasy like other places can be. A great neighborhood gem. My cousin had the poke bowl and it looked delicious too!

This was a great place for people with allergies! The staff was really helpful to make sure I was able to order gluten and dairy free. The only questionable item was when the employee asked me if the beans were gluten free (how would I know, lol!). He did offer to bring me a can so I could read the ingredients, but I opted for a different side. I had the red snapper with the lemon dill dry rub, and it was amazing.

This place was recommended but I did not know what to expect. I thought the place would be bigger. I did not expect it to be so casual. However, the food is delicious! We had the swordfish plate and clam chowder. Both of which were perfectly prepared. The portions of the rice and fish were ample but not overfilling. The salad paired with raspberry vinaigrette was unique. The clamchowder is excellent. To extend the experience, we ordered more clam chowder, a sea bass sandwich, grilled with lemon butter like the swordfish, and a large order of fish device. I would highly recommend coming in to dine and experience epicurean delights.

We ordered clam chowder, halibut, red snapper, sea bass plates.
All was great except the sea bass did not taste like the normal texture of oily and soft. It tasted more like a sand bass-low quality fish. I would avoid ordering that.
The halibut was legitimate and flavorful.
Good to come for casual dining and good food.

Really fantastic hidden gem! I was craving fish and chips and they did not disappoint! The fish was fresh and really fried well, not greasy or heavy, just really really good! My husband got the shrimp and chips and the shrimp was bomb! Really large and they give you a ton! The fries are really good too! We had the white clam chowder that was pretty good but I’ve had better, but a super nice guy gave us a sample of the red chowder and that was soooo good! It’s clean and cute, a great fish counter! And excellent service! I can’t wait to go back and try other things. For the amount of fresh seafood they serve the price is amazing! Literally can’t wait to go back!

We went to eat here based on past reviews. We stayed away from the clam chowder. But we did have from the fryer the combo platter, which includes 2 pcs fried cod, 3 jumbo shrimp and a crab cake served with fries. Everything on the platter was hot and crispy, even the fries were very good. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. You can even take fresh fish home. So if you ask for a certain type of fish or shrimp and they’re out it’s because it comes in fresh.

Update Nov 29: We came back for more Calamari salad, salmon and scallops, all amazing! We came back two more times before we went home on 12/8. I have fish markets at home, but maybe in CA it is better, this was the best fish I have ever gotten to cook at home, so thank you, you are their go to and you are my go to every time we visit,so good!
Novemver 24: My brother brought me here for my first time, their calamari salad is delicious! We have had their scallops, so fresh and big! We have had their salmon and sea bass, the only place I would go to buy fresh fish in Oceanside. The staff were fabulous and the food to eat onsite looked amazing!
