I have always taken my kids to Pelican’s, but I had never gotten one for myself. I tried one for the first time a few weeks ago. They are so good and have so many flavors to choose from.

We’ve been to this location several times since moving to Lexington and each time we’ve gotten Snoballs with barely any flavor. We thought that maybe it was a once or twice type of thing but it’s been every time that we’ve come. We’re huge fans of Pelicans however this location drops the ball in regards to product. Most complaints are about service being slow but we don’t mind that. We’d just like to have a satisfying amount of flavor instead of tasting mostly plain ice.

Went with local friends while visiting from Garner, NC. Kids enjoyed their treats and playing on a hot summer day!! Loved the outdoor activities, though the sandbox could really use some fresh play sand. We didn’t mind the honey bees at all!! Was pretty neat to learn they started in Garner, NC!!

The selection of flavors is enough to please anyone. Summer is just starting, and I know this will be the coolest place to chill out!! Thank you for friendly staff, seating and games. The whole family had fun and enjoyed a treat.

They have dye free options that taste just as good as the regular flavor! Reasonable priced and tons and tons of flavored snow cone options. They also have a nice seating/play area outside the building. We enjoy going here after baseball games.

Delicious ice! I first had some on Employee Appreciation Day @ my job, so good had to try with my family! Amazing shaved ice and tons of flavors! I’ve been looking for an ice spot since my fav Monkey Ice closed years ago. No complaints here, super delicious I’m hooked. You gotta try this ice you won’t be disappointed. It’s soooo good!!!

Really great quick stop for a treat. Kids love all the kid options with the gummies plus all the fun kid games when they get done like giant connect 4 or huge bubble wands. Wish the sugar free options had a better taste to them.

The snow cones were awesome! We really enjoyed the play area for kids. They had a sandbox, chalk, blocks, and corn hole. They had kid sized picnic tables and full size. Not the fastest service but the play area kept my son occupied.

Hands down one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at any dessert spot. The staff at Pelican’s Snoballs were shockingly rude — no greeting, no smile, just a group of employees acting annoyed to even be there. They were loud, disrespectful, and looked completely unbothered while getting my order completely wrong. When I pointed it out, they acted like it was my fault and didn’t even bother to fix it.
As for the snoballs themselves? Absolutely disgusting. The texture was pure ice — crunchy, flavorless, and barely any syrup. It felt like chewing on freezer burn. Nothing enjoyable about it.
The whole place felt like it was being run by people who couldn’t care less. Total waste of time and money. Never going back, and I’d strongly suggest you don’t either.
