I might as well be a regular here, I love this place for brunch. They have amazing food, every French toast dish is amazing, smoothies are refreshing and pancakes are delicious. I’ve been coming here for so long, love this place. The workers are very attentive, a server by the name of Michell was my server several times, he seems optimistic to work there and it just makes the place seem more happier. I will for sure be coming back!!!

Kim greeted us with enthusiasm and professionalism. She was amazing in filling drink and food orders!
The menu was a wide variety of flavors! The fresh squeezed juices were amazing!
I had the Keen Chicken which was influenced by Indian Spices! I loved it with the hash browns and naan!!!!!!
It truly is a hidden gem! Our first time here……will not be our last.

Since my initial review I have visited The Pelican a few more times.
Yesterday’s lunch there was amazingly delicious!
Their shrimp and grits is the best I’ve ever had!!
And I order it when its on the menu.
Lots of shrimp and even more flavor.
Its really unbelievablely delicious, had a tinge of spiciness and very filling as you get a good sized portion.
Service, again, was spot on.
And their prices are very reasonable.
Kudos to the Chef!
She really puts love into every dish cuz that’s what it tastes like.

This little brunch spot, has become a sacred place for me. The atmosphere is nice, and the waiters are always beyond kind! Like seriously all of them are. Love taking my friends & family here. Home fries are always so delicious and as well as the eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes. Everything truly is done great. Love reading my book and sitting on the high tops, you think I’d gatekeep it consider how much I love it but happiness is better shared!

If you’re looking for some nice omelets, pancakes, or even fresh juice or smoothies this is the place to be! When I was here with my mom it was almost impossible to be in a bad mood, our server Kim was amazing she was so nice and genuine! If you’re looking for lunch instead of breakfast they also have a lunch menu that is phenomenal. This place is amazing if your looking for a calming mood and a nice place to start and conversation this is the place!

What s great place for breakfast, lunch brunch. Small cafe was packed but Frankie basically served the whole place without missing a beat and a delight to talk to. Perfect Perfect cappuccino, dishes served hot and fresh from the kitchen. I had a Greek Omelet that was delicious, my wife had perfect poached eggs, hash browns and homemade chicken sausage, all outstanding. Can’t wait to go back!

We went to The Pelican Restaurant on Lake Avenue in Lake Worth today. It’s a small, no-frills place with a clear diner feel. Definitely nothing fancy at all. Inside there are about six or seven tables plus a short counter with maybe six seats, and a few tables outside along the avenue. When we go for late breakfast during the week, there’s usually just one waitress, so the pace is relaxed. It gets busier on weekends, but the atmosphere stays true to a classic neighborhood diner.
The real reason we keep coming back is the food — specifically a couple of breakfast dishes with Pakistani/Indian influence and real spice.My food rating of 5 stars specifically pertains to these two particular dishes. The standouts for us are the Keema Omelette and the Eggs Nissa. With the keema omelette, you can choose between chicken or lamb. Both dishes come with naan bread . Both are so tasty that when we haven’t been there for a while we start craving them , which is why we keep returning. Honestly, they’re so consistently good that we’ve never even tried anything else on the menu.
A fair warning: these dishes are a little spicy. If you don’t enjoy spice, they may not be for you. That said, the menu also includes plenty of typical American breakfast options, so it’s still a good choice if someone in your group prefers something more traditional.
