Super cute gift shop inside, lots of custom drinks. I got a white chocolate toffee frappy. If you get frappes, you know they are hard to mess up and they are always sweet. Well, the bitterness of their coffee OVERPOWERED this. That was all the aftertaste… It left this horrible taste in my mouth. I’m glad I didn’t get an iced because I know it wouldn’t have even been drinkable. Just not my taste, so I won’t be back to try anymore. Was just in the area doing something else and gave it a shot.

What they lack in standard coffee shop offerings they make up for with flavored syrups! Latte was brown water and the coffee was self serve through pump thermos’ with only those little shelf stable cups for cream. I don’t relish leaving low reviews, but this place needs a name change to something more accurate.

Wonder why the place isnt packed? Showed up 30 minutes before work with 2 people ahead of me and 2 tickets on the counter. The girl behind the counter waited 10 minutes to even start the other order. Waited 20 minutes my order wasnt taken. When there is ticket to be made you dont mess around you make the ticket. No one has time to wait 20 plus minutes for coffee.

The Pelican House is beautiful this time of year. Beverages are amazing and a cozy atmosphere. But beware. The arts and crafts section is addictive but expensive, Take a little extra time and maybe a few extra dollars and look around. I promise you you’ll find something to bring home for the holidays!

Great service, had potato soup and tomato basil soup..both were delicious. Got a lemonade smoothie and it was a great refreshing treat. Loved the variety of drinks they offered. The gift shop had all kinds of great stuff!
