Just went to Pelancho’s for lunch and had a bad experience. We waited about 15 minutes for a server to take our drink order – we should have left when we had the chance. There are zero prices on the drink menu. There’s also NO lunch menu on weekends (or maybe ever). Ordered a “top shelf” margarita that tasted like straight chemicals. Our son’s beef nachos were dried and crusty – he’s 7, and said he thought his food was made a long time ago. My husband’s burrito was incredibly salty. It might have been edible if had a drink to wash the taste down, but the waitress never brought a single drink refill. I ordered the Arroz con pollo tropical, and my first two bites were pure gristle, which I had to spit out in my napkin. Our total for two adult meals, a margarita, and an inedible kid’s meal was $62. To top it off, the restaurant feels dirty – we sat in a booth, and there was trash on the floor and old food splattered on the wall. There are too many good Mexican restaurants in this area to go back to Pelanchos. It was truly bad.

We had s nice meal at a place we drive by all the time and this time stopped in. The service was quite fine and the atmosphere is dated but fine for a quick meal. I has Ceveche and Empenadas as both were quite tasty. Well hit the restaurant again in a few years and see how it fares then. All in all a B-.

It was my first time visiting Pelanchos Mexican Grill. I sat myself at the bar and was immediately greeted with a warm welcome from the Bartender Jesus. I was waiting in my girlfriend to arrive whom recommended Pelanchos to me and while waiting asked kindly if he minded me sitting in the patio for the sunset and to check out the display of Porches sitting in their parking lot gathered for a great dining experience! While sitting in the patio I had the pleasure of meeting Julian, the General Manager, who was so welcoming to me as he and staff took a minute to enjoy the wonderful sunset offered from their patio while seeing satisfied guests zoom away in their Porches! Haha!! I most definitely will return with my girlfriend wh arrived shortly thereafter before closing time but they did not make us feel rushed or burdened by a late drink option! Thank you Julian and Jesus for making my first experience at Pelanchos Mexican Grill a winner and loyalty for OUR future business with you!!

Love the atmosphere. If I’m being honest the service is hit or miss. Sometimes it’s fabulous, other times I go an entire meal without getting a single drink refill, etc. Still, the atmosphere is pretty cool.

The cheese dip is sooo watery it has to be eaten with a spoon!! It spilled out of the nachos that I ordered and leaked through the container into the bag. Are they using water to water down the cheese dip?!?!

We had a large party and they were able to get us in within the hour that we called to see if they could fit us. We all enjoyed our food but there were a few things missing and we had to ask a few times for them. (We understand it’s a lot with a big group!) We we’re so bummed that they didn’t have horchata as that’s one of our favorites but overall the food was good. The place is large and has lots of seating both indoor and outdoor.
It’s not our favorite Mexican place but it was good.

I go here all the time it is my regular restaurant of choice. The servers are wonderful and always greet me it’s gotten to where they already know my drink of choice and get it ready. They are always smiling and the food is excellent I recommend this Pelanchos for anyone in the mood for Mexican food and friendly service. Shout out to Jasus for always giving the best service.

Great atmosphere, service is top notch. The house salsa is very good, ceviche was outstanding, this is a particular favorite of mine, so I am picky. The chicken soup was very tasty, and the tamale was great too. Would highly recommend this resturant. I am still sitting here as I post, swung when I saw this place on a whim. Glad I did!

Absolutely disappointed in the service. The food was good. Our server not so much. He brought the wrong drink – EVERY time and it was a margarita, but top shelf. He forgot the salad that was a part of the meal, meh, let it go, but the straw that broke the back… there were 3 couples, gave him a CC for our meals and drinks, comes back in front everyone puts the CC down in front of me, said it’s declined and walked away. Everyone looked at me, like what? I pulled up my account and ya, plenty of credit – thousands, so I got up, found him and interrupted his conversation with a co-worker. I said, this is a mistake, and he says no watch – runs it and it says chip malfunction! I know it’s not my card, so I asked him if he had a different terminal, so he ran it on another machine and magic! It worked. That right there, the laziness, the disrespect and the I don’t care attitude ruined the entire experience. Re-train, or rather just train your staff. Plenty of other good Mexican restaurants around. I will not go back here.

And I am always a little critical of them in my reviews. Pelanchos has a great interior – it is like a little Mexican town. It was a slow evening, so it had a peaceful environment. The service was spot on. The food was good. All in all, it was an above average Mexican restaurant.
