Reviews
We stopped in for a mix of seafood and had a generally good experience with a few hits and misses. We ordered the raw oysters, grilled oysters, and both the fish and shrimp tacos.
The grilled oysters were the absolute highlight —pretty amazing flavor with excellent chorizo. The raw oysters were also good and very fresh, though a bit on the smaller side compared to others we’ve had recently (including this same restaurant yesterday)
As for the tacos, the toppings, slaw, and sauces were tasty on both, but the portions varied. The shrimp tacos were substantial with two big shrimp per taco. The fish taco, however, had great flavor but was very sparse on the actual fish — it felt a bit like they had just scraped a filet into it rather than providing a solid piece of fish.
Service is friendly though the kitchen (to me) is a bit slow – took about 20 minutes for our order today and 30 yesterday for just the oysters – it’s all served in to go containers.
The display stands are almost empty, and the prices are not cheap either.
