A good Chinese buffet located in Rockingham NC..Plenty of variety including Sushi and fresh fruit..Id go again..I found the choices to be good with one suggestion..Crab Rangoon instead of Cheese Rangoon..Didn’t see any Moo Gai Pan which is a favorite. Overall a good buffet ..My friend and I both enjoyed the buffet.

Have always loved Peking wok. Great owner, good energy, and great food. Food is always being changed out and stays fresh and hot. Good service and clean. Gets better by the year I believe. Only steady buffet in Richmond county really.

I recently tried Peking Wok for the first time, and my experience was definitively mixed—not bad, but not great either.
The atmosphere was fine; it’s a perfectly acceptable place to sit down for a meal. The service was efficient, and everything felt clean and organized.
When it comes to the food, the main dishes were just okay. For example, the Sesame Chicken was passable, but nothing spectacular. The biggest drawback for me was the overall flavor profile. I found that the dishes, in general, lacked the strong, punchy flavors I typically expect from a traditional Chinese restaurant.
Also, if you are planning to order from their Japanese side, be aware that the sushi menu was lacking in variety. If you are looking for a few simple rolls, it might suffice, but it won’t satisfy a true sushi craving.

I used to love this place. My husband and I stopped in tonight. I had Sushi and a couple items off of the bar. My husband ate off of the bar. We were in there 30 minutes and I was ready to go. We were seated. Our drinks were given to us and that was it. The food was dried and old. The sushi wasn’t fresh at all. When I asked for some fresh Sushi, I was told yes and there still wasn’t any brought out. The place was dirty. Multiple tables that hadn’t been cleaned. There were maybe 5 tables that were accompanied by people. The waitress were sitting on a stool behind the counter eating. NOT attending to their customers. 2 adult buffet 1 water and 1 tea in total costed $32.74. A picture is worth a 1,000 words.

Had the buffet. Everything I tried was hot and good. The server kept my tea glass full and removed plates promptly with a smile. Wonderful service. I’m looking forward to returning in the near future.

Why was $6.75 added to my bill? The good was bad, very bad. The peel and eat shrimp had not been cleaned. The black feces vein running down the back was still present. The food was not hot. The only decent items were the jello and chocolate ice cream. I’ll never patronize this place again!

Forgot to remove the free sauce packets and forks and napkins from the weigh scale for take out food. Know what that means? I paid the price of 8.75 a lb for that free stuff. When I noticed and asked cashier to please refund me I was looked at like I am crazy. Listen it’s already crazy that at no time is anything on that buffet worth more than $3 a lb bought. I know, labor ECT, but no deals here. Better off sitting down and leaving plates of left overs or ordering from the menu and get something hot instead of stale. Seriously. But it’s dishonest to not train your cashier to remove the sauce and forks and napkins when charging us over 8 dollars a lb for takeout.

Being my 1st time coming here and found I really liked this place. The selection of food was overstimulating and all delicious. Dinner price was not bad for what you get and the service and ambience was delightful! Can’t wait for round 2!

My guilty pleasure is Chinese buffet. I stopped here at 6:30 and spent about an hour stuffing my face with all sorts of tasty pieces. Lots of the usual Americanized Chinese items including baked seafood, beef & broccoli, fried green beans, fried pork in batter, chicken wings, lo mein, battered meat in a sweet sauce and yes, a reasonable display of sushi rolls though most were covered in sauce.
The restaurant is clean, the steam tables were tidied often and refilled, my waitress cleared dirty dishes and refilled my water. I’m stuffed!
