The chicken lo mein was noodles soaked in sauce with some shreds of carrot a couple shreds of chicken and a mushroom or two horrible tasted like baking soda was an ingredient. Steamed dumplings awesome the best. The reason I’m writing this is the fact that Chinese food has gotten very expensive. If they can’t keep a standard of quality I’ll just go get pizza or a sandwich. Peace ️

I’ve gone to this Chinese food restaurant since they opened, back when there were still phone books.. probably 20 years ago, and have yet to have a bad experience with the food, service, or my food not being ready when I get there. Phunny story- when they first opened, decades ago, the name of the restaurant was “Puking Wok” on the sign, advertisements, and phone book lol It took them many years to change the “u” to “e.” And, that’s one reason I love this place.. they focused on customer satisfaction and not a silly name.. and THAT’S why they are still in business!!

I had higher hopes for this little spot. We ordered food for delivery via Uber Eats, so we did not experience the restaurant, service or ambiance first hand.
The food was a major letdown. Everything we ordered was bland without any real flavor that you’d expect from take out Chinese food. It came piping hot so we knew it was made fresh and the actual delivery time wasn’t the issue. Egg Foo Young: bland. Lo Mein: no flavor. Orange Chicken: no real breading, too soft on the outside and dry chicken within. Hot and Sour Soup: wasn’t hot or sour.
We won’t be ordering again unfortunately.

My co worker and I decided to stop by and order dinner from here. She got the general tso’ chicken, crab ragoons and sugar donuts and I got shrimp with broccoli and a shrimp egg role. She thought her food was ok, my shrimp were over cooked but the egg roll was very flavorful. Donuts were ok, they could have had more sugar on them. We didn’t wait to long for our food.

I’ve eaten here many times, and have never been displeased…almost hidden in a small strip mall, Peking Wok offers a nice and very tasty selection of food.
Among my favorites are the eggrolls, the honey chicken, and the BBQ spare ribs. Their portion sizes will fill you up (and are great even as leftovers)!
The service is courteous and efficient; a nice little neighborhood restaurant.
Would like to note…they have now opened up the lobby area, where entry was sealed at the front door due to Covid restrictions…exchanges are done through a plastic film at the counter, and masks are ‘required’.

The food is great to eat on the run or busy. The atmosphere is great and the people behind the restaurant are the best! Highly recommend.

Peking Wok is a wonderful take-out place with friendly staff. It is refreshing to not have to travel into Greensboro to get take-out. The food was great with good flavor and sufficient spice. Portion sizes were good too. The picture is of Szechuan Beef and Mongolian Chicken after we had filled two plates completely full. This is definitely one of our go-to spots for an at-home date night after the kids go to bed!

Great place for quick Chinese take out. I enjoy getting the Pad Tai or General tsos chicken.
